Vatican Calls For World Bank?

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: In what is sure to anger Laissez-Faire Capitalists, irritate international Socialists, and drive American Evangelicals hysterical; a small and obscure Vatican commission today released a non-binding and non-doctrinal proposal calling for the creation of a new global financial order, that would help to regulate and control the excesses and inequalities of the current world monetary system....

(CNS) -- A Vatican document called for the gradual creation of a world political authority with broad powers to regulate financial markets and rein in the "inequalities and distortions of capitalist development."

The document said the current global financial crisis has revealed "selfishness, collective greed and the hoarding of goods on a great scale." A supranational authority, it said, is needed to place the common good at the center of international economic activity.

The 41-page text was titled, "Toward Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of Global Public Authority." Prepared by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, it was released Oct. 24 in several languages, including a provisional translation in English.

The document cited the teachings of popes over the last 40 years on the need for a universal public authority that would transcend national interests. The current economic crisis, which has seen growing inequality between the rich and poor of the world, underlines the necessity to take concrete steps toward creating such an authority, it said.

One major step, it said, should be reform of the international monetary system in a way that involves developing countries. The document foresaw creation of a "central world bank" that would regulate the flow of monetary exchanges; it said the International Monetary Fund had lost the ability to control the amount of credit risk taken on by the system...

The document itself is likely to be ignored by leaders in the international community, especially in Europe and America, where large corporations and banks are content to leave things exactly the way they are. Not that it really matters, since the document itself is a single commission proposal, which is not part of the magisterial teaching of the Church.  It is simply a "note" from one office within the Vatican.  It carries no ecclesiastical 'weight' and is designed to be absorbed into a larger, more comprehensive, document later on.  The wording may be changed, and some portions may end up being deleted all together.  In other words, this 'note' is just a small flexible part of a much larger work in progress.

The contentious point of the document, receiving so much media fanfare, but so few direct quotes as to what it actually says is as follows...

A supranational Authority of this kind should have a realistic structure and be set up gradually. It should be favourable to the existence of efficient and effective monetary and financial systems; that is, free and stable markets overseen by a suitable legal framework, well-functioning in support of sustainable development and social progress of all, and inspired by the values of charity and truth. It is a matter of an Authority with a global reach that cannot be imposed by force, coercion or violence, but should be the outcome of a free and shared agreement and a reflection of the permanent and historic needs of the world common good.

This comes following the most honest assessment ever seen on the causes of the international financial/economic crisis that rocked the world in 2008 and continues with us today. The Vatican is attempting to lead other nations to own up to the fact that the current financial order is corrupt, and that current regulatory methods are not fixing the problem. If anything they are making them worse, and because of this, another financial catastrophe (far worse than 2008) awaits us in the near future.

The document released today emphasizes the need to follow the Catholic principle of subsidiarity. This means that problems should be dealt with from the bottom up, not the top down. It is consistent with the papal encyclicals of the last century, and in no way called for an authoritarian 'New World Order' as some have suggested. Quite to the contrary, the document calls for the voluntary creation of better financial/economic regulating authorities, which implies such things do not currently exist. That by definition excludes the International Monetary Fund (IMF) which is criticised directly, the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations. Clearly what the document calls for is something new and different, that is not based on the corrupted status quo. It gives no specific details beyond this.

The document IS NOT a call to a 'New World Order' or a 'Centralised Banking System.'   It is a call to a new way of regulating international commerce, but it is NOT a call to creating a 'One World Global Government.'  Sorry, conspiracy theorists, but you're hyperventilating over nothing.   If anything, the Vatican is trying to move the world AWAY from a centralised world tyranny.

Like Rerum Novarum in 1891, and all the papal social encyclicals since then, this is likely to be ignored by the leaders in Europe and America, to the detriment of the third-world and even middle to low income people in Europe and America themselves. (Right now it seems the only people hyperventilating about this are some conservative Catholics, Evangelicals and a few secular conspiracy theorists.)

Because our leaders have ignored papal teaching on social justice (or perverted it to suite their own template), the world will continue to languish in economic depravity, oscillating between the 'gods' of capitalism and socialism, until finally the whole thing implodes into a worldwide economic catastrophe. Only then, after the world has been left in financial ruin, will some wise European monarch take up the banner of the Church and actually begin to implement this stuff she has been preaching about for the last 120 years!

To understand this document, it must be put into the full context of a century of papal teaching. To interpret the document in a vacuum, as the news media often does, is to distort what it means. So what does it mean? Well you can read the document and decide for yourself. I've provided a link below to the full text. Before you do however, you need a primer on Catholic Social Justice. So here is the short-version gist of it...

Catholics cannot be Socialists. This is clearly taught by the Church. By the same token however, and perhaps in a more profound way, Catholics cannot be Capitalists either! (When I say 'Capitalists' here I mean the Austrian School of Economics embraced by Neoconservatives and Libertarians.) No honest reading of the Gospels, or the Church's social encyclicals, can produce a Socialist or Capitalist outlook. Both philosophies must be rejected by the Christian mind, or else bow to the altars of man we will, instead of the one true altar of Christ.

The Church has made her social teachings clear in both the Catechism and papal encyclicals. Great Catholic thinkers, such as G.K. Chesterton and Hilaire Belloc, gave us the philosophical framework for how to apply these encyclicals to modern economics. They called this new way of thinking DISTRIBUTISM, which was an outright rejection of Capitalism and Socialism. For if Capitalism is a wound on the proper economic social order, than Socialism is just a band-aid, and not a very good one at that. The economic social order must be reconstructed in the image of the Gospel, and while that will most certainly not produce a perfect world, it will most certainly make things better than they are. Until then however, I do hope you will join me in thanking Pope Benedict XVI for his wise instruction through the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, and join me in storing the document in safe keeping until that day when a great monarch will one day implement it. We should do this while we prepare for the onslaught of mockery we will soon get from the Capitalist elite, the frustration we will hear from the international Socialists who will say it doesn't go far enough, and the hysterical "end of the world" rantings of American Evangelicals who will soon tell us the pope is the Antichrist. I have already read the ramblings of some bloggers and comments made on Internet forums. This document will certainly result in a whole new round of Anti-Catholicism in the Western world, particularly in the United States.

HOW TO FIGHT THE NEW WORLD ORDER

1. PRAY - Only God can deliver us from our enemies.
2. Get involved in your local parish church -- stay involved!
3. Get your kids out of government schools (use private, religious or home school instead.)
4. Turn off the television, and limit TV time.
5. Don't watch or listen to corporate/government news (CNN, FoxNews, ABC, NBC, CBS, New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, etc.)
6. Get your news from selected private (non-corporate owned) news agencies, blogs and publications on the Internet and from short-wave radio.
7. Buy everything you can from locally owned businesses.  (Avoid "big-box" superstores and large franchise chains.)
8. Invest your money in a local credit union or savings and loan.  (Do not use banks!)
9. Always vote for politicians and laws that uphold SUBSIDIARITY as their guiding principle.
10. Join local (peaceful & non-violent) Christian movements that strive for political independence and secession from larger super-states.
11. Connect with others culturally and try to rebuild the Christian culture of your local ancestors.
12. GET THE WORD OUT and tell others about these twelve steps to fighting the New World Order.

END GAME

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT:  The whole world is divided between just two powers.

The first power is Western Globalism.  This consists of Western quasi-capitalist  nations owned and financed by communist China.  Sorry, if that bursts your bubble, but that is just the facts.  Modern capitalism is a ruse.  It has become, as Hilaire Belloc said it would be, "The Servile State."  It is an economy whereby the state, through positive law and monopolies, mandates that certain people must work for others, and their employers must "take care" of them.  It is not a true free market, whereby any man can take his life savings and invest in a business of his choice, thereby creating and owning his own job and his own destiny without the fear of being undercut, and run out of business, by a massive international corporation with resources far beyond what he could ever accomplish himself.  The Servile State in Europe and North America is indebted to communist China for it's very existence now, and so the Chinese now own the West.  The Servile State is also heavily dependent on oil, as is China, and in the face of an emerging "peak oil" economy, the West has taken it upon itself to invade and conquer the Arab world for it's oil supply.  This is how it works.  Remember, the Servile State is a quasi-capitalist globalist system, with elements of socialism and serfdom intermixed.  It depends heavily on large corporations, and an alliance between large corporations and Western governments.  In the United States we know this as the relationship between Wal Street in New York and K Street in Washington DC.  When Western nations need more oil, they attempt to contract with Arab powers in the Middle East and Northern Africa.  This is because of their abundance of "light crude" in that region, which means oil that is easy to drill and requires the least refinery process, thus maximizing profit for the oil company and reducing gasoline prices for Western consumers.  When Arab powers cooperate, they are rewarded with riches beyond their imagination -- think Saudi Arabia and the Arabian peninsula region.  Cooperation consists of freedom for Western corporations to drill there and the guarantee that all oil will be traded in U.S. dollars.  (This is the ONLY thing keeping the U.S. dollar afloat after leaving the gold standard behind in the 1970s.)  If, however, a particular Arab power refuses to cooperate in some way or another, than the Western corporations tattle-tale to Western governments, and those Western governments respond by sending in secret covert operatives to the problem Arab nation.  The idea here is to stir up a revolution, so as to effect "regime change," and replace the old leaders with new ones that are willing to deal with Western oil companies.  (Think Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Bahrain. etc.)  All of the attempted revolutions in these countries were spawned by the CIA, MI6, and other European intelligence agencies.  If these uprisings succeed, like they did in Egypt, then we go back to cutting deals with Western oil corporations.  If they don't succeed, as they didn't in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now Libya, then the West responds with military force to effect "regime change."  Once that's done, we go back to cutting deals with Western oil corporations.  One way or another, the West gets it's oil, and oil continues to be traded in U.S. dollars.  You will notice that this new way of doing things seemed to come about in around 1990.  At around the same time the old Soviet Union collapsed.  The collapse of the Soviet Union was absolutely necessary to implement this new Western hegemony.  Prior to 1990 the Soviet Union stood in the way.  After 1990, the West had free reign to implement the imperial aspirations of the Servile State.  Former President George H. Bush referred to this new Western hegemony as the "New World Order."  The video above covers the emergence of this "New World Order" onto the public scene twenty years ago, when it was discussed openly by the President of the United States and his administration, along with the Congress, Pentagon, Western allied nations, NATO and the UN.  It was at that time we learned that the unification of Europe was part of a much broader plan.  Later, under the administration of George W. Bush, we would discover that unification of North America was also on the agenda, as well as the unification of other regions around the world.  Again, China is intimately involved with this, and believe it or not, the United States of America serves at the behest of China, which owns most of the USA's national debt.  As China's economy begins to emerge in the years ahead, it's need for oil will grow exponentially, and so the United States will continue to use it's military to insure that this flow of "light crude" from the Arab world remains at a constant until it is completely and totally depleted.

The second power is the emerging Islamic Caliphate which is an alliance between Islamists and socialists.  Yes, ironically, socialism plays a role on both sides of the emerging global conflict.  On the Western side, socialism works together with large corporations to form the Servile State of the New World Order.  While on the Eastern side, socialism works together with radical Islam to form the emerging caliphate.  On both sides, Socialism (the brainchild of Karl Marx and Fredrick Engels), plays an intimate role.  Russia has always aligned more with the northern Arab states and Islamic powers, even since the days of the Soviet Union and the Cold War.  Since the end of the Cold War, the United States and NATO have consistently cut Russia out of any share in the New World Order.  So Russia has adopted a very hostile attitude toward the Servile State of the West.  The recent war in Georgia was one example of this, where the Russians cited the bogus charge of "ethnic cleansing" to seize an oil pipeline that spanned the northern frontier of Georgia.  Russia has also been working closely with Iran and Syria against Western influence in the Arab world.  This is why Western attempts to usurp Arab powers will likely backfire, as we are already beginning to see in Iraq and Egypt.  Likewise, Europe has seen a massive influx of Arab Muslims while hard-core Socialists (Marxist Russian style) have made inroads into European culture for years.  The alliance between hard Socialists and Islamic radicals is now playing out in the open for all the world to see.  The two are frequently seen protesting together throughout Europe, while emerging Islamist states in the Middle East are starting to implement hard Socialist policies.  The Russian Socialists and Islamic Arabs are working together AGAINST the Western centered Servile State in the New World Order.  Now the Russians probably have further plans to establish their own globalist power in the long run, while the Islamists clearly seek their own idea of a worldwide caliphate.  As far as the Islamists are concerned, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.  They are willing to work together against the Western New World Order until it is destroyed, and then duke it out with the Russians once that conflict is settled.

In the middle of all of this is the Zionist nation-state of Israel.  So it would seem Israel has been playing the Western New World Order with it's political and economic alliance with the United States.  That relationship is now strained and Israel's future is now in question.  There are those who would like us to believe Zionism is behind all of this.  I'm not so sure of that right now.  For the time being, it looks like Zionists have been playing the system to their advantage, but that's not the same as controlling it.  In the end, Israel has served the purpose of the West, and so the West tolerates it's existence for now.

Right now we are living in the days just before the End Game, the time when nations are preparing for the final conflict between East and West.  The West has formulated the New World Order.  It is a form of soft-socialism. combined with corporate hegemony.  It is the Servile State and it seeks to dominate the world.  The East fancies a harder form of Socialism, and seeks it's own global power, but that cannot be realized until the Western New World Order is crushed and the Socialists and Islamists duke it out to see who will be in control.  The Middle East has become a tinderbox with it's access to light crude in a peak oil economy.  While Zionist Israel has become the fuse with it's Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  The fuse will be ignited soon, and the whole region will go up in flames.  This is inevitable.

However, the flames will not stop in the Middle East.  The Socialist-Islamist alliance in Europe is very strong,  When the Middle East goes up in flames, Europe will likely follow, and with that we will begin to see the fulfillment of Catholic prophecy.  France, Italy and Britain will fall to social upheaval, on the order of that seen in Egypt and the Middle East.  What comes around goes around, so the saying goes, and as the West has orchestrated the failed attempts of "regime change" in the Arab world, so the East will orchestrate the same in the Western world.  Those of us who know Catholic prophecy know what will become of that.

For the time being, we are seeing calls to nationalism and patriotism.  This always precedes times of war.  The globalist agenda will likely enter into it's next phase the years ahead.  It will be precipitated by another global economic meltdown this year, or next year at the latest.  The underlying economic problems that prompted the crash of 2008 have not been addressed.  Therefore, another collapse is inevitable.  This collapse will be so deep, and so terrible, that it will likely prompt North Americans to choose between breadlines or economic unification.  Europe on the other hand will be plunged into a war for it's very existence.  This is when the best laid plans of the Western globalists and the Eastern anti-globalists will come to a head and begin to crumble for both sides.

It is prophesied, by the Saints of old, that God will use the wicked powers of the East to destroy the wicked plans of the West.  Then when the West has been brought to it's knees, facing total destruction, God will raise up a holy pope and a great monarch to defeat the powers of the East and restore order to Europe, and the world, under the reign of a vast Christian empire, unlike anything seen since the days of the Holy Roman Empire.  Somehow the nation of Russia plays into these prophecies.  Currently, Russia serves at the behest of the wicked socialist anti-globalists and is allied with Islamic radical powers.  But toward the end of the conflict, like in World War I, Russia will undergo a change that will cause it to withdraw from the arena of world affairs, and eventually bring it into alignment with the great monarch of the West.  Could this event be the reunification of the Russian Orthodox Church with Rome, (i.e. the "conversion of Russia") spurring the return of the czars?   Prior to World War I Russia was a Christian empire.  After World War I, Russia became a godless socialist republic.  Now as we approach World War III, Russia will enter the conflict as a godless socialist-fascist republic, but possibly emerge as a Christian empire again?  The prophecies, both Biblical and extra-Biblical seem to suggest some kind of cataclysmic event befalling Russia, prompting it's return to sanity.  This is the linchpin to the Catholic understanding of end-times prophecy.  Russia is the key.

Catholic prophecy also tells us of a period of peace that will follow this end game, whether it will last just one generation or many remains to be seen, and the prophecies themselves seem to leave this open ended.  After that period of peace however, man will return to his wicked ways.  Zionism will return with a new Messianic fervor, and the world will find itself in the clutches of the great and final Antichrist himself.  That day is coming, but it is not now.  Today we face the end of our current way of life, the clash and destruction of the globalist ambitions of Western secularist powers.  The likely fall of the Zionist regime in Israel, but not necessarily the end of Jews living in the Holy Land.  The terror of an Islamist-Socialist takeover of the world is upon us, followed by their own destruction through the intervention of God.

How does this relate to us right here and now?  First and foremost, don't fall for the propaganda.  The current world system cannot be saved.  The New World Order is destined for destruction.  Since the United States is so intimately involved in the New World Order, indeed the USA is mostly the catalyst behind it, the result of it's demise will be hard on America -- very hard.  Catholics should be aligning themselves with the pope and strongly relearning the catechism.  We should be careful not to let nationalist or globalist ideology cloud our judgement.  We should physically prepare ourselves by storing up some basic survival foods and necessities that will last us about a month.  Likewise, investing in hard currency, such as gold and silver, instead of soft currency (dollars, euros, etc.) would likely be prudent.  Finally, we must network with fellow Catholics and other Christians of good will toward us.  Beyond regular prayer and striving for personal holiness with charity, this is literally ALL we can do.  We can do no more but wait and watch it all unfold around us.

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: Make no mistake about it, this current national economic and debt crisis is part of an overall agenda, and will be used as a catalyst to further advance the North American Union or "NAU." As the value of the dollar plummets in the months ahead, thanks to massive printing of dollars to pay for these "economic stimulus packages," healthcare overhaul and national deficits, the case for a new continental currency (the "Amero") will be pushed forward. As the Mexican government continues to collapse, the case for further Mexican integration with America and Canada will be pushed. The architects of the North American Union are right on track with their plan to eliminate American sovereignty, and if you think President Obama is going to do anything to stop this, think again, because if you believe that I've got a bridge I would like to sell you, along with some beach front property in Arizona.

With the end of American sovereignty within sight, the panorama of our 230+ years of existence as a free nation comes into question. What was it all about? If this is where things are going, why did America's Founding Fathers bother to rebel against the English crown in the first place? They say we did it for self government, but now we are about to hand over our independence to some imperial monstrosity of our own making - the North American Union. Was it all really worth it? Where do we go from here?

For now, it seems that all appeals toward American patriotism have failed, or have had only transient success, and indeed it would seem our own government is being intentionally wrecked to force this upon us. The more we appeal to our own independence and sovereignty, the more that independence and sovereignty is undermined. With a $14.5 trillion national debt, and an annual deficit of $1.5 trillion, the complete economic collapse of America is inevitable.  All the Tea Party Republicans can do now is delay it, but even that is questionable.  To prevent a default on the bonds that finance this debt, the government will print more dollars to cover the interest payments on the loan.  This will accelerate inflation, driving the value of the dollar downward.  Once our money is worthless, the push toward a continental currency will be extremely powerful. The argument will simply be made to accept the "Amero" or face breadlines. The Amero will be backed by gold, silver or some other precious metal with intrinsic value.  This will stabilize the currency, thus creating economic stability across the continent, with far reaching positive effects around the world.  I have no doubt in my mind that this generation of Americans, having never had to make real sacrifices, will cave in quickly once faced with this kind of a crisis.  The proposed solution will just be too irresistible.

The North American Union would essentially be a foreign power, artificially created, with no historical claim on anything American. Let us not kid ourselves either. The North American Union, like the European Union, is designed to be a smaller piece that fits quite neatly into a much larger puzzle of world government. By submitting to the North American Union, the United States would effectively be submitting to a larger world government later on.

Here is the problem.  There is, and always has been, big international cartels of business and bankers that sought to control governments with money favors.  Democratic Republics (like the United States for example) easily succumb to this temptation.  The reason why is because national election campaigns are VERY expensive, and candidates need lots of money to run them.  This is particularly true for campaigns involving the president of the United States.  There are only a few organizations that are more than willing to "donate" to such a cause.  Like good businessmen however, all they expect in kind is a good return on their investment.  Initially these sorts of things are worked out in the form of tax breaks, but of course there are bigger and better arrangements that can be made further down the line.  In today's world we have seen this manifested in the form of taxpayer funded "bailouts" for large international banks.  This is how it works, you see, this is the nature of democracy.  In a democratic system, the super-rich and powerful ALWAYS end up on top, while the average taxpayer gets hosed.  Now it is also true to say that the super-rich and powerful have always ended up on top no matter what form of government was in place.  Agreed.  However, under some forms of government there can be safeguards to keep the average taxpayer from getting hosed to the point where the taxpayer has no hope of ever getting a leg up.

One such system which offers hope to the taxpayer is monarchy.  Allow me to explain.  In a true monarchy, the king already has access to all of the material wealth and comfort he can imagine.  He also has access to all of the material power his country can produce.  This sets him up in a unique position, because you see he serves a lifelong term with absolute loyalty sworn to him by his chief military officers.  This system may seem archaic to the modern mind, but just because it's ancient doesn't mean it's foolish.  The ancients were not imbeciles.  Remember, the Greeks tried democracy and republicanism too.  It ended in failure for them, which is why they defaulted to monarchy.  The monarch system, as backward as it sounds to modern people today, is actually set up and designed to resist the influences of powerful money cartels. The monarch already has full access to every material thing his heart desires.  Therefore he cannot be bought.  He is already a world leader by virtue of the fact he rules a nation.  So he has power, and because his term is lifelong, his power is secure.  The cartel is left with little to offer him that he doesn't already have.  This frees him.  Under this system a nation's leader is liberated to do what is right rather than what is politically expedient.  Now that's not to say a king will always do what is right.  Sometimes kings have moral failures.  This is classically known as the "good king" verses "bad king" phenomenon.  However, even if the ratio of good kings verses bad kings were 50/50 it would still mean the right thing (justice) is getting done at least half of the time, which is a hell of a lot better than how often it gets done under a democratic republic, as we have seen in recent decades.  Fortunately however, a look at the panorama of European history tells us the ratio is much better than 50/50.  It's more like 80/20, which is to say for every ten monarchs, about two turn out bad, while the other eight turn out relatively good.  Historically speaking, the best way to deal with an international money cartel is with a monarch, who can stand up to it, if indeed he is morally competent to do so.  Not all monarchs are morally competent in this way, but most of them are.  Eventually the money cartel that controls the West will get so big and so powerful that the Western nations will have no choice but to revert to monarchy to reign it in.

That will be then, this is now, and for the time being anyway, democratic republics are the rule of the day.  So what we can expect more of, is more of the same.  The first thing we have to understand is that both socialism and capitalism are two extreme economic models designed to corral the West into the Servile State.  The Servile State is the point where the international money cartel and national governments become one in the same thing.  In many ways we are already there, but the cartel has bigger plans in mind.  The international Servile State will be created through sovereign debt, and it's not just the United States that will be captured by this debt crisis, but every Western nation in the world.  Never fret though, while the crisis is coming, the cartel has already provided the solution, and virtually all of the leaders are in place now to implement it.  The European Union is already established, and to keep it from crashing, the North American Union will soon be put into place.  After the NAU is created, other unions will quickly fall into place, or so the cartel thinks, that is until they run into the Islamic caliphate.  Right now, the "Arab spring" is being funded by the cartel.  The idea here is to knock down the monarchies, dictatorships and theocracies that control the Arab Muslims world.  They may be successful in knocking down some governments, especially those in North Africa, but they may run into some problems in Saudi Arabia and Iran.  Regardless of that, the Muslim Brotherhood and their ilk have other plans.

The Islamic caliphate will eventually be created.  This is the ultimate goal of the Muslim Brotherhood and other similar organizations.  Once that happens there will exist an Islamic "king" or "emperor" who will be able to stand up to the West's money cartel.  He will likely base his policies on Islamic law, not international monetary policy.  I suspect his reaction to their attempted control of him will not be pleasant.  It will be at this point when Israel and Europe find themselves in the fight for their lives.  Neither entities will survive the conflict in their present form.

So with this apocalyptic view of the near future, the question arises, what becomes of the late great United States.  This we cannot know.  The future of America is hidden from us.

For Catholics however, there is always a solution to our present woes.  The first thing we need to do is get back to our religion.  Strong religious families always survive the fall of nations.  Empires rise and empires fall, but the Catholic Church goes on, and those families who cling to her can expect to go on too.  Second, we must not be afraid.  By this I mean we must not be afraid to do what is right, according to the teachings of our faith, and live strong Catholic lives in spite of the world that hates us for it.  You see the best "revenge" is living well, so let us do that by living according to what our faith teaches, and in doing so our very existence will drive our enemies mad.  Third, we must network.  Only by drawing close to our fellow Catholics, and those Protestants of good will, can we hope to survive and thrive through the coming Servile State and the catastrophe that will soon follow in it's wake.

Could America Attack Israel ???

While the prospect of American or Western forces confronting Israeli troops may seem remote, one Middle East policy expert is warning the precedent set by Obama in agreeing to target Libya opens the door to other possible United Nations-backed confrontations, including perhaps one day with Israel.

"Particularly concerning is the prospect that what we might call the Gaddafi Precedent will be used in the not-to-distant future to justify and threaten the use of U.S. military forces against an American ally: Israel," writes Frank Gaffney Jr., president of the Center for Security Policy.

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: The whole notion seems kind of far fetched to me, but not beyond the realm of possibility. The fact that some are even considering it simply demonstrates how far the United States has fallen down the road to global empire. It's not an empire in a traditional sense but in a geopolitical sense. We are are the World's policeman you see, and it's not because the president of the United States wants to be. It's because he has to be. You see, the dirty little secret is this. The president of the United States does exactly what he is TOLD to do. He is not beholden to the people of America who elected him. No. He has a boss, and it's not us. The only problem is we don't exactly know who that boss is. We can speculate, but we don't know for sure. Yes, G.W. Bush answered to somebody else when he was president, and likewise Barack Obama does the same. Remember that.

If the United States ever finds itself in a confrontation with Israel, it's going to cause an interesting situation here at home. First, the Evangelicals will be in an uproar. I'm not talking about just being angry here. I'm talking about absolute hostility of the worst kind. Opposition to the Whitehouse will take on a religious fervor, and this will put the United States government at odds with a large portion of the American public. The potential for government violence against Evangelicals will be high, especially after some crackpots (not necessarily associated with the Evangelicals) try some terrorist stunts in the name of Zionism.

All that aside, where should Catholics stand on this. Having learned my lesson from the Iraq War in 2003, I have come to agree with the pope. All military intervention is generally a bad idea except in clear cases of self defense. So that being said, the Iraq War was a bad idea. The Libyan NATO bombing currently going on is a bad idea. Likewise, any confrontation with Israel is a bad idea as well.

It's bad enough European and American intelligence agencies are intimately involved with the popular uprisings in the Arab world, but to back these uprisings with military force from the West only proves that the West was behind these uprisings in the first place.

As a Catholic and an American I can only advise my nation to pull out of the Arab world completely. Send humanitarian aid to Christians in the region, and otherwise stay out of that hornet's nest. In my opinion, that is the Catholic position. Don't take sides, and help the persecuted Christian minority. Sadly, I seriously doubt anyone in Washington D.C. is going to listen to a practicing Catholic when it comes to foreign policy.

Western Powers Are Behind Arab Revolutions

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: Hindsight being 20/20, it would appear that as we've had time to reflect on the events to 2011 thus far, patterns are emerging, and the truth is beginning to come out. Our suspicions are being confirmed.

Western Liberals, particularly in the United States, have for the past three years (at least) been working behind the scenes to create these riotous revolutions in North Africa and the Middle East. Now when I say "Liberals" I'm including Neoconservatives in the United States as well. I'm talking about everyone from the far Left (George Soros and company) to the libertarian centrist (George Bush and friends). I am not talking about the truly right wing (paleoconservative) groups, which have been disenfranchised in the United States and Europe for decades.

Information emerging from Wikileaks is starting to confirm many of the suspicions we had, but were hesitant to voice, while the riots were beginning to unfold weeks ago. What we have here is an elaborate strategy that has been executed with precision to elicit a certain response in the Arab world. The manipulation began under the George W. Bush administration and is now continuing under the administration of Barack Obama. While the United States seems to be the principle agent, European powers are likewise in collaboration. This helps to explain the United States' seeming "standoffish" posture while the riot-revolutions unfold. The United States has been intimately involved, but this has been behind the scenes and under the table. Moving in too fast in a public way would tip the world off as to what is really going on.

In dealing with the Arab world the United States us using a threefold strategy to get what it wants. Here's how it works...

1. First, major corporations within the United States (and Europe) pitch business deals to Arab powers, promising money and prestige to any Arab leader that will cooperate.
2. Next, if the first step should fail, the CIA steps in and attempts to orchestrate a revolution from inside the nation, to change the regime and place people in power who will be more willing to make business deals with American (and European) companies. 
3. Lastly, if the second step should fail, a pretense for war is manufactured resulting in military action from American and NATO powers, again attempting to produce a regime change.

We saw this entire scenario unfold in Iraq and Afghanistan.  We've been watching it unfold in Iran for about a decade now, and the plan has met considerable resistance from there with multiple failures in Step Two, and preparation being made for Step Three.  In the last two months we have watched Step Two unfold all across the Arab world as more and more evidence continues to surface of deep American involvement.  Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Tunisia, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Syria; are all experiencing unrest.  So far the Saudis, Jordanians, Kuwaitis and Syrians have been able to pacify their people with financial aid to citizens and the promise of reform.  Saudi Arabia has been having increasing trouble in the south and is now moving troops into Bahrain for a direct confrontation with protesters.  Egypt's president, Hosni Mubarak was not so lucky, and became the first leader to be ousted in this recent clandestine Euro-American venture.   The fate of Libya's dictator Muammar Gaddafi remains uncertain, though it would appear he is winning at the moment. (You will notice the emerging Euro-American pretense for war starting to develop as the West mulls over a transition to Step Three above.)  If Gaddafi prevails we can probably expect the accusation of "war crimes" and "ethnic cleansing" against him to come out of Europe and the United States as they attempt to coax their people to support a military "solution." 

Of coarse the logical question for anyone to ask is "WHY?"  Why would the Western world do this?  What is the purpose?  What's the benefit?  You might be surprised to learn is not about oil.  There is plenty of oil all over the world, especially in North America.  No, its about something a little more nuanced called "peak oil."  What is "peak oil?"  Here's is the definition from Wikipedia...

(Wikipedia) - Peak oil is the point in time when the maximum rate of global petroleum extraction is reached, after which the rate of production enters terminal decline. This concept is based on the observed production rates of individual oil wells, and the combined production rate of a field of related oil wells. The aggregate production rate from an oil field over time usually grows exponentially until the rate peaks and then declines—sometimes rapidly—until the field is depleted. This concept is derived from the Hubbert curve, and has been shown to be applicable to the sum of a nation’s domestic production rate, and is similarly applied to the global rate of petroleum production. Peak oil is often confused with oil depletion; peak oil is the point of maximum production while depletion refers to a period of falling reserves and supply.

Now to translate this into common English here is what it means.  There is plenty of oil all over the earth.  In fact, there is considerable evidence mounting that oil isn't even a "fossil fuel" and that it's actually produced as a byproduct of geological forces deep inside the earth.  NASA believes that there is evidence of oil on other worlds with high volcanic activity, and so if that is the case, it can't be the result of decaying dinosaurs and plant life as previously thought.  All that aside nobody is talking about oil depletion here, as it would appear that oil may very well be a renewable source of perpetual energy provided by geological-volcanic activity deep beneath the earth's surface.  So if the modern science is right, the earth will never run out of oil.  It just takes time for the oil to bubble up high enough in the earth's crust for us to drill down and get it.  That being said we run into another problem.  It's not about how much oil exists, or will exist in the future.  It's about how much oil can be extracted at a time even if every country is using all of its resources to get at it.  When you reach the maximum extraction rate possible, and the amount of oil consumption surpasses that, you have reached "peak oil."  In other words, it's not about how much refined oil hits the market, but rather it's about how fast it's being consumed by the industrial world.  Once you hit "peak oil" fuel prices go up, way up, and that slows down economies and threatens economic growth.  Without economic growth a nation's political power and corporate hegemony begins to decline, and that spells bad news for the people in charge.

Ever since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 a new bipolar conflict has emerged between the United States and Russia.  That conflict is over peak oil, and both the United States and Russia are trying to gain control of as much oil producing countries as possible to gain the upper hand when peak oil occurs.  It's expected to occur sometime within the next few decades, so each superpower it vying for as much control as possible.  The nation that has the most control over the most oil production suffers the least in a peak oil world economy.  The Soviet Union lists as it's oil "producers" most of the "stan" states (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) along with Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Iran. Within these states exist vital pipelines and oil fields supplying the new Russian Federation. Recently, the United States attempted to cut a deal with the nation of Georgia, promising oil revenue from the West and military protection under NATO. This was considered a political "invasion" into the Russian sphere of influence and resulted in a Russian military counter-invasion of Georgia in 2008. Russia seized a northern province in Georgia that contained the coveted oil pipeline, and accused Georgia of "ethnic cleansing" to justify it. (This was a direct "thumb in the nose" to NATO allies which accused Serbia of the same thing in Kosovo to justify the NATO bombing of this Russian ally in the late 1990s.) It was a little case of what comes around goes around. 

Among America's allied oil producers are most South American nations and many nations within the Arab world. However, the United States has run into a problem lately.  The Arab world has been getting "uppity" in recent decades, namely since the creation of OPEC and the tight control of oil production which dictates fuel prices.  The United States took it's currency off the gold standard in 1971 and indirectly placed it on the "oil standard" in that oil is now traded in U.S. dollars.  Thus as a result, when the price of oil goes up the dollar is weaker, and when the price of oil goes down the dollar is stronger.

After the economic collapse of the United States and Europe in late 2008, the western economies were propped up artificially with various bailout "stimulus packages" created by Western governments.  The United States of course led the way with the largest stimulus package and the printing of U.S. dollars to pay for it.  With this massive injection of liquidity (money printing) of U.S. dollars into foreign markets, the price of food rapidly increased creating inflation.  These increased food prices destabilized various economies that trade in U.S. dollars, particularly the Arab nations.  Euro-American involvement in clandestine populace movements sponsored riots and revolutions in these nations.  The idea here was to force Arab leaders to start pumping more oil to stabilize the U.S. dollar and give the Western world an upper hand in the emerging peak oil economy.  Those leaders that don't comply face more protests, riots and revolutions to come.  It's a nasty little game we're playing to maintain our political influence, economic prowess and corporate hegemony.  We're doing it to keep the Russians from getting the upper hand and maintain our superpower status both domestically and internationally.

The problem here is this is how we're treating our supposed "allies" in the Arab world. Granted, they haven't been treating us too nicely in recent decades, but nevertheless, we need their support to prevent Russia from gaining a peak oil advantage.  Supporting and sponsoring riots and revolutions within the nations of your supposed "allies" is not very conducive to good relations.  We're effectively acting more like a bully than a friend.  The only way this pays off for the United States and Europe is if it's successful, and regime changes occur all throughout the Arab world, but even then it's risky business, because if those new regimes are taken over by radicals, we could be in a lot of trouble.  Furthermore, if these riot-revolutions are not successful, we have just effectively pissed off our "allies" who give us the upper hand in a peak oil economy. On thing is for sure, if Gaddafi survives the attempted coupe in his nation of Libya, he'll never sell another drop of oil to Europe again.  His oil will go to Russia instead.

The problem with Western Liberals (both Leftist Socialists and Centrist Libertarians) is that they both believe their economic models will work just fine in the Arab world since they have proved to work so swimmingly well in the Western world.  (Well, sort of.)  So the Centrist Libertarians (otherwise known as the Neoconservatives of George W. Bush and company) have pushed to recreate the Arab world in the Western world's image, assuming that this will result in greater oil trading partners over time.  While the Leftist Socialists (George Soros and company) also believe their models will work well in the Arab world and so they likewise work with the Centrist Libertarians to accomplish the same goal of regime change.  In the end however, their final objectives are considerably different.  The Centrist Libertarians (Neoconservatives) would like to create a world where the United States and Europe have the upper hand in a peak oil economy, while the Leftist Socialists envision a new order in which there is an "open society" whereby socialist nations trade oil on equal footing.  Both groups are terribly mistaken.

The Arab world isn't going to fall for the Neoconservative or Socialist vision.  The Arab world has it's own vision and that is Shariah law.  Now there are various degrees of this vision, and a lot of it depends on what part of the Arab world we're talking about, but the basic premise of the vision is shared throughout.  They envision Islamic Sharia, under Arab political prowess, with their own economic hegemony.  The United States and Russia can just be dammed as far as their concerned.  So long as their leaders continue to cooperate with both superpowers they will be vulnerable to uprisings.  Right now the Islamic religious leaders in the Arab world are using the subversion of the CIA to their advantage.  They know that once their leaders are overthrown there will be a period of vulnerability which they can use to seize power.  It's happened before (Iran in 1979), and it will likely happen again.  Both the United States and Russia are playing with fire here, but the United States is more deeply entangled, at least as far as we can tell for now.  It is likely the whole thing will blow up in our faces in the not-too-distant future.

Those of us familiar with Catholic prophecy concerning the Chastisement of God (which we are now in and will likely soon conclude) will result in the fall of Europe to Muslim and Marxist powers in an upheaval of anarchy.  This may very well be payback for Euro-American subversion in the Arab world.  We also know that Russia is involved in this somehow, and it would appear the United States is strangely silent, as if we are unable to do anything.  We know this results in the fall of the Vatican in Rome, the assassination of our pope, and the rise of a new pope in exile who will crown a new French king that will eventually reestablish the Holy Roman Empire.  We also know that nothing short of a direct intervention from God, a disaster of epic proportions and unrivaled in all of recorded history, will be the decisive blow to the powers of evil in this age.  Before that happens however, the Church in Europe will be decimated, and European Christians will face the threshold of extinction.  Exactly when and how this will all unfold is not known to us at this time, but with each passing month the emerging picture becomes a little more clear. 

Federal Reserve Policies Ignite Worldwide Riots

For a long time, the price of raw materials has for the most part not reflected the interaction of supply and demand for real goods. By far, the main factor in shaping the price of almost all raw materials is trading by financial operators who can quickly shift huge amounts of money from government bonds to securities, stocks and so-called goods. For those with the right connections, profits are huge and risks relatively low. Since they have access to almost unlimited resources, they can get what they want. Market values are systematically distorted in large measure, but not exclusively, by the ‘Plunge Protection Team’, a colloquial term used by newspapers for a little known body with an exclusive membership that has a major impact on markets. Set up in 1988, its official name is the President's Working Group on Financial Markets. It includes the secretary of the Treasury, the chairman of the Federal Reserve, the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. In addition, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which oversees the nation's open market operations, is now routinely involved as well. A small number of institutional groups rotate around the aforementioned bodies as well. They include big business banks, like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, and hedge funds. Movement of personnel between these institutional groups and big private groups are commonplace; thus, no one should be surprised if a handful of managers in charge of speculative funds can earn huge annual pays, a billion dollars just in fees in some cases.

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: It has been said that when America catches a cold the world catches pneumonia. Our financial crisis in the United States, coupled by massive government spending, and the willingness of the Federal Reserve to float the debt with trillions of dollars in funny money, is now coming back to bite us. The world will suffer first, and then Americans are not far behind.

The riots currently going on around the world may have political underpinnings, but it is inflation and food shortages that has sparked them. These economic woes are in great part the direct result of our own government's criminal negligence.

Libertarian Economics Is Anti-Christian

"The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. With that in mind I would like to turn our attention to economics. There are basically two schools of economics at work in the modern world. The first comes to us from Karl Marx in the form of Socialism, and we are all too familiar with the rabid Christophobia associated with that. How many millions of Christians died under the oppression of forced Socialist (i.e. Communist and Fascist) regimes during the 20th century? I suppose only God knows. Socialism is a total failure economically.  It has raped the taxpayers of every country it's influenced.  While it simultaneously drained their national treasuries to nothing, leaving them only with debt.  In America we see these very same ideas embraced by progressive universities, the entertainment industry and the Democratic Party.  During the 20th century, socialist policies enacted in the United States eventually brought the world's last remaining superpower to it's knees economically.  The progressive Democrat government put in place in 2008 has only exacerbated the problem.  As of 2010, over 56% of the U.S. federal budget was spent on "entitlement" programs, which are essentially socialist ponzi schemes, while the government ran a federal deficit of $1.17 trillion to pay for them.  The U.S. now faces a debt crisis that threatens to undermine it's very sovereignty.  So as the world ever so slowly begins to understand the failures of Marx, it gradually turns to another guru of economic despair - Ludwig Von Mises.

Ludwig Von Mises was the founder of the Austro-Libertarian school of economics. The Von Mises school of thought advocates minimal to zero government intervention in economics with maximum free trade on a global level. In America, it's an idea that is frequently promoted on conservative talk radio, and there are many advocates within the Republican Party. The Libertarian Party is practically based on it. Many see it as the exact opposite of Socialism, and therefore the cure to what ails us in this post-Socialist environment. Sadly, there are problems, and this is not the "fix" many are hoping for.  Austro-Libertarian policies are what gave us NAFTA and GATT.  These are free trade deals that allow American corporations to outsource their workforce, making products in other countries for a fraction of the cost, then selling them back to Americans with no tariffs to lower their profit.  It puts Americans out of work, and rewards companies for hiring virtual "slave labor" overseas.

The only Christian voice that has truly tackled the issue of economics in the modern world is that of the Catholic Church. From the social encyclicals of the popes, we see that what the Church advocates is something akin to what G. K. Chesterton called "Distributism." In today's terminology, it might better be described as "Micro-Capitalism." Perhaps the term "Distributed-Capitalism" may be another way of putting it. By this is meant the free market. But the market is not truly "free" if it is dominated by a handful of men who have cornered it with monopolies. In this sense, the government truly does have a role in economics in the form of protecting the free market from those few powerful businesses that would seek to crush the free market trade of smaller businesses. For the most widely distributed ownership of property, via legitimate free market trade at a local level, is the most sure safeguard against widespread poverty and dependency. It is also the most consistent producer of charity for the poor among individuals. The problem with Austro-Libertarian economics is that a locally controlled market is lost to international free traders and cutthroat competition coming from the "big box" retail outlets.

To make matters worse however, the founder of this school of thought was just as Anti-Catholic and Christophobic as the father of Socialism - Karl Marx himself. Mises, like so many of his followers today, failed to understand the nuance of Catholic Social Doctrine, describing it as authoritarian in nature, and even going so far as to accuse the Catholic Church of embracing Socialism for it's own self interest.  While it is fair to say that both Catholic and Protestant individuals have in the past abused Church social teaching for Socialist ends, it is not true to say that the Church itself in any way supports Socialism.  In fact, the Holy See has a reputation of excommunicating Socialists masquerading as theologians, and has actually condemned all forms of collectivism in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.  This is a "straw-man" logical fallacy, used by Mises to justify his own philosophy and malign Catholic Social Doctrine.  The following are excerpts from the Ludwig Von Mises Institute. They were compiled as a reference for a heated exchange between Christopher A. Ferrara, author and President of the American Catholic Lawyers Association, and respected historian Dr. Thomas E. Woods, both practicing Catholics.  Dr. Woods, a scholar and author, has sided with the Von Mises perspective on economics and has written some articles in defense of it.  While Mr. Ferrara has faithfully held to the traditional Catholic perspective of the popes. 1. Jesus’ preaching of a Kingdom to come destroys all social ties:

The expectation of God’s own reorganization when the time came and the exclusive transfer of all action and thought to the future Kingdom of God, made Jesus’s teaching utterly negative. He rejects everything that exists without offering anything to replace it. He arrives at dissolving all existing social ties….

2. Jesus is like the Bolshevists:

…His zeal in destroying social ties knows no limits. The motive force behind the purity and power of this complete negation is ecstatic inspiration and enthusiastic hope of a new world. Hence his passionate attack upon everything that exists. Everything may be destroyed because God in His omnipotence will rebuild the future order. No need to scrutinize whether anything can be carried over from the old to the new order, because this new order will arise without human aid. It demands therefore from its adherents no system of ethics, no particular conduct in any positive direction. Faith and faith alone, hope, expectation—that is all he needs. He need contribute nothing to the reconstruction of the future, this God Himself has provided for. The clearest modern parallel to the attitude of complete negation of primitive Christianity is Bolshevism. The Bolshevists, too, wish to destroy everything that exists because they regard it as hopelessly bad. But they have in mind ideas, indefinite and contradictory though they may be, of the future social order. They demand not only that their followers shall destroy all that is, but also that they pursue a definite line of conduct leading towards the future Kingdom of which they have dreamt. Jesus teaching in this respect, on the other hand, is merely negation.

3. Jesus despises the rich, inciting the world to violence against them and their property, and His teaching has borne “evil seed”:

One thing of course is clear, and no skilful interpretation can obscure it. Jesus’ words are full of resentment against the rich, and the Apostles are no meeker in this respect. The Rich Man is condemned because he is rich, the Beggar praised because he is poor. The only reason why Jesus does not declare war against the rich and preach revenge on them is that God has said: “Revenge is mine.”

In God’s Kingdom the poor shall be rich, but the rich shall be made to suffer. Later revisers have tried to soften the words of Christ against the rich, of which the most complete and powerful version is found in the Gospel of Luke, but there is quite enough left to support those who incite the world to hatred of the rich, revenge, murder and arson. Up to the time of modern Socialism no movement against private poverty which has arisen in the Christian world has failed to seek authority in Jesus, the Apostles, and the Christian Fathers, not to mention those who, like Tolstoy, made the Gospel resentment against the rich the very heart and soul of their teaching.

This is a case in which the Redeemer’s words bore evil seed. More harm has been done, and more blood shed, on account of them than by the persecution of heretics and the burning of witches. They have always rendered the Church defenseless against all movements which aim at destroying human society….

4. The Church, not Enlightenment liberalism, cleared the way for Socialism:

…. It would be foolish to maintain that Enlightenment, by undermining the religious feeling of the masses, had cleared the way for Socialism. On the contrary, it is the resistance which the Church has offered to the spread of liberal ideas which has prepared the soil for the destructive resentment of modern socialist thought. Not only has the Church done nothing to extinguish the fire, it has even blown upon the embers….

5. Christian doctrine is destructive of society, prohibits concern for sustenance and work, preaches hatred of the family, and even endorses castration:

6. The Gospel played no part in the building of Western civilization:

The cultural achievements of the Church in its centuries of development are the work of the Church, not of Christianity. It is an open question how much of this work is due to the civilization inherited from the Roman state and how much to the idea of Christian love completely transformed under the influence of the Stoics and other ancient philosophers. The social ethics of Jesus have no part in this cultural development. The Church's achievement in this case was to render them harmless, but always only for a limited period of time….

7. Because it opposes liberalism, the Church is an enemy of society:

The fate of Civilization is involved. For it is not as if the resistance of the Church to liberal ideas was harmless. The Church is such a tremendous power that its enmity to the forces which bring society into existence would be enough to break our whole culture into fragments. In the last decades we have witnessed with horror its terrible transformation into an enemy of society. For the Church, Catholic as well as Protestant, is not the least of the factors responsible for the prevalence of destructive ideals in the world today…

8. Liberalism is superior to Christianity and has restored humanity by overthrowing the Church, which is why the Church hates it:

Historically it is easy to understand the dislike which the Church has shown for economic liberty and political Liberalism in any form. Liberalism is the flower of that rational enlightenment which dealt a deathblow to the regime of the old Church and from which modern historical criticism has sprung. It was Liberalism that undermined the power of the classes that had for centuries been closely bound up with the Church. It transformed the world more than Christianity had ever done. It restored humanity to the world and to life. It awakened forces which shook the foundations of the inert traditionalism on which Church and creed rested. The new outlook caused the Church great uneasiness, and it has not yet adjusted itself to even the externals of the modern epoch.

9. Christianity has become a religion of hate, seeking to destroy the “wonderful new world” of liberalism:

True, the priests in Catholic countries sprinkle holy water on newly laid railways and dynamos of new power stations, but the professed Christian still shudders inwardly at the workings of a civilization which his faith cannot grasp. The Church strongly resented modernity and the modern spirit. What wonder, then, that it allied itself with those whom resentment had driven to wish for the break-up of this wonderful new world, and feverishly explored its well-stocked arsenal for the means to denounce the earthly struggle for work and wealth. The religion which called itself the religion of love became a religion of hatred in a world that seemed ripe for happiness. Any would-be destroyers of the modern social order could count on finding a champion in Christianity.

10. Because they follow the Gospel and have not been “inoculated” with liberal philosophy, priests and monks are the enemies of society:

Priests and monks who practiced true Christian charity, ministered and taught in hospitals and prisons and knew all there was to know about suffering and sinning humanity—these were the first to be ensnared by the new gospel of social destruction. Only a firm grasp of liberal philosophy could have inoculated them against the infectious resentment which raged among their protégés and was justified by the Gospels. As it was, they became dangerous enemies of society. From the work of charity sprang hatred of society.

11. The Church and the Papacy seek to enslave men by depriving them of reason and the spiritual freedom of capitalism:

The Church knows that it cannot win unless it can seal the fount from which its opponent continues to draw inspiration. As long as rationalism and the spiritual freedom of the individual are maintained in economic life, the Church will never succeed in fettering thought and shepherding the intellect in the desired direction. To do this it would first have to obtain supremacy over all human activity. Therefore it cannot rest content to live as a free Church in a free state [the very slogan of Cavour, the great Masonic enemy of the Church and Blessed Pius IX - CAF]; it must seek to dominate that state. The Papacy of Rome and the Protestant national churches both fight for such dominion as would enable them to order all things temporal according to their ideals. The Church can tolerate no other spiritual power. Every independent spiritual power is a menace to it, a menace which increases in strength as the rationalization of life progresses.

12. Christianity needs socialism in order to maintain theocracy against the threat of “independent production”:

Now independent production does not tolerate any spiritual over-lordship. In our day, dominion over the mind can only be obtained through the control of production. All Churches have long been dimly aware of this, but it was first made clear to them when the socialist idea, rising from an independent source, made itself felt as a powerful and rapidly growing force. It then dawned upon the Churches that theocracy is only possible in a socialist community.

13. The Church must “transform” itself by embracing capitalism rather than papal teaching, such as that of Pius XI:

If the Roman Church is to find any way out of the crisis into which nationalism has brought it, then it must be thoroughly transformed. It may be that this transformation and reformation will lead to its unconditional acceptance of the indispensability of private ownership in the means of production. At present it is still far from this, as witness the recent encyclical Quadragesimo anno.

The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has been suddenly, brutally and quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka Hadley CRU) and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the internet. (Hat tip: Watts Up With That)

When you read some of those files – including 1079 emails and 72 documents – you realise just why the boffins at Hadley CRU might have preferred to keep them confidential. As Andrew Bolt puts it, this scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”. These alleged emails – supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists pushing AGW theory – suggest:

Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in their public claims and much more.

One of the alleged emails has a gentle gloat over the death in 2004 of John L Daly (one of the first climate change sceptics, founder of the Still Waiting For Greenhouse site), commenting:

“In an odd way this is cheering news.”

But perhaps the most damaging revelations – the scientific equivalent of the Telegraph’s MPs’ expenses scandal – are those concerning the way Warmist scientists may variously have manipulated or suppressed evidence in order to support their cause....

Those of us who have at least a novice understanding of science already knew this. We've been sounding the alarm for nearly a decade now. Man-made global warming is a FRAUD! If you've bought into it, you've been had, hoodwinked and suckered! Now how much money did they get out of you?

You shouldn't feel too bad though. You're in good company. These man-made, global-warming, "climate change" charlatans bamboozled princes and kings, presidents and prime ministers, senators and congressman, pastors and prelates. Yes they got the cream of the crop, while simultaneously netting the masses, pulling in billions of dollars for their "cause" while getting the world's leaders to adopt policies and sign treaties that restricted free enterprise and taxed the little guy. It helped to keep the third-world in poverty by getting the industrialized world to look for "alternative energy." Yes, citizens of the world, you've been hoodwinked. We tried to warn you. Some of you listened, but most of you would not. Now thanks to these global-warming, environmentalist Cretans a black stain has soiled the reputation of modern science. It was the biggest fraud in the history of the world! How can the people of earth ever trust the so-called "experts" again? Why should they? Why would they let themselves be taken for fools twice?

Yes, the earth did warm for a time. What the global-warming "climate change" charlatans failed to point out is that Mars and Venus were warming too, along with Jupiter and Saturn. Now last time I checked, we didn't export any gas guzzling SUVs to those celestial bodies. Could it be that the one thing they all had in common was simultaneously the same thing that was warming them? What is this mysterious common thing? Could it be the sun? Ah yes, as many good scientists pointed out, and continuously tried to warn us against the so-called "experts," was that global-warming climate change was universal throughout our solar system, that is was caused by the unusually high sunspot cycle, and there was nothing man could have done to increase it or reduce it. It's a natural phenomenon, it's happened before, and it will happen again. These same good scientists warned us against the so-called "experts" and the politicians who capitalized on their prophecies of man-made impending doom. The world has actually been cooling since 2005, but this information was suppressed by the so-called "experts" who told us they knew best. Yes, the earth has been cooling for four years now, along with Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn, because the sun has just gone through it's low point in it's sunspot cycle, and we can expect the world to continue cooling for another couple years at least, before it begins warming again as the sun reaches the high point of it's sunspot cycle. That is, assuming the sun behaves in it's normal predictable way. However, history tells us that sometimes the sun has a mind of it's own, altering it's sunspot cycle for unknown reasons, and this radically effects the climate on Earth, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn. Of course it is only the Earth's climate that we all notice.

This is not to say that the industrialized world should not innovate to create alternative forms of energy, if anything it should for political and pollution reasons. Nobody likes smog, and the western world is way too dependent on foreign oil. Of course, the third-world needs oil, if it's ever going to rise from it's poverty stricken state, and enter the industrialized world, which it must do before it can afford to pursue methods of alternative energy. However, what this scandal reveals to us is that we are not in crisis mode. There is no crisis. The earth warms and cools based primarily on solar cycles beyond our control. These ridiculous environmental treaties and taxes are a fraud. They're designed to sucker the industrialized nations into a Marxist agenda while simultaneously fleecing them of billions of dollars - taxed via your hard earned wages that is.

In the wake of this scandal, let us turn to the words of Pope Benedict XVI in his encyclical letter Caratas In Veritate, in which he urges Christians to pursue technologies and conservation in ways that protect the environment WITHOUT doing it in such a crisis mode that it deprives the poor in the developing world from much needed industrial growth. In other words, the environment is important, but not at the expense of your fellow man. It's time for people to WAKE UP and understand that the so-called "experts" on man-made global-warming climate change have their own agenda which has nothing to do with the environment, and everything to do with ripping you off, at the expense of the poor.
