END GAME

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT:  The whole world is divided between just two powers.

The first power is Western Globalism.  This consists of Western quasi-capitalist  nations owned and financed by communist China.  Sorry, if that bursts your bubble, but that is just the facts.  Modern capitalism is a ruse.  It has become, as Hilaire Belloc said it would be, "The Servile State."  It is an economy whereby the state, through positive law and monopolies, mandates that certain people must work for others, and their employers must "take care" of them.  It is not a true free market, whereby any man can take his life savings and invest in a business of his choice, thereby creating and owning his own job and his own destiny without the fear of being undercut, and run out of business, by a massive international corporation with resources far beyond what he could ever accomplish himself.  The Servile State in Europe and North America is indebted to communist China for it's very existence now, and so the Chinese now own the West.  The Servile State is also heavily dependent on oil, as is China, and in the face of an emerging "peak oil" economy, the West has taken it upon itself to invade and conquer the Arab world for it's oil supply.  This is how it works.  Remember, the Servile State is a quasi-capitalist globalist system, with elements of socialism and serfdom intermixed.  It depends heavily on large corporations, and an alliance between large corporations and Western governments.  In the United States we know this as the relationship between Wal Street in New York and K Street in Washington DC.  When Western nations need more oil, they attempt to contract with Arab powers in the Middle East and Northern Africa.  This is because of their abundance of "light crude" in that region, which means oil that is easy to drill and requires the least refinery process, thus maximizing profit for the oil company and reducing gasoline prices for Western consumers.  When Arab powers cooperate, they are rewarded with riches beyond their imagination -- think Saudi Arabia and the Arabian peninsula region.  Cooperation consists of freedom for Western corporations to drill there and the guarantee that all oil will be traded in U.S. dollars.  (This is the ONLY thing keeping the U.S. dollar afloat after leaving the gold standard behind in the 1970s.)  If, however, a particular Arab power refuses to cooperate in some way or another, than the Western corporations tattle-tale to Western governments, and those Western governments respond by sending in secret covert operatives to the problem Arab nation.  The idea here is to stir up a revolution, so as to effect "regime change," and replace the old leaders with new ones that are willing to deal with Western oil companies.  (Think Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Bahrain. etc.)  All of the attempted revolutions in these countries were spawned by the CIA, MI6, and other European intelligence agencies.  If these uprisings succeed, like they did in Egypt, then we go back to cutting deals with Western oil corporations.  If they don't succeed, as they didn't in Iraq and Afghanistan, and now Libya, then the West responds with military force to effect "regime change."  Once that's done, we go back to cutting deals with Western oil corporations.  One way or another, the West gets it's oil, and oil continues to be traded in U.S. dollars.  You will notice that this new way of doing things seemed to come about in around 1990.  At around the same time the old Soviet Union collapsed.  The collapse of the Soviet Union was absolutely necessary to implement this new Western hegemony.  Prior to 1990 the Soviet Union stood in the way.  After 1990, the West had free reign to implement the imperial aspirations of the Servile State.  Former President George H. Bush referred to this new Western hegemony as the "New World Order."  The video above covers the emergence of this "New World Order" onto the public scene twenty years ago, when it was discussed openly by the President of the United States and his administration, along with the Congress, Pentagon, Western allied nations, NATO and the UN.  It was at that time we learned that the unification of Europe was part of a much broader plan.  Later, under the administration of George W. Bush, we would discover that unification of North America was also on the agenda, as well as the unification of other regions around the world.  Again, China is intimately involved with this, and believe it or not, the United States of America serves at the behest of China, which owns most of the USA's national debt.  As China's economy begins to emerge in the years ahead, it's need for oil will grow exponentially, and so the United States will continue to use it's military to insure that this flow of "light crude" from the Arab world remains at a constant until it is completely and totally depleted.

The second power is the emerging Islamic Caliphate which is an alliance between Islamists and socialists.  Yes, ironically, socialism plays a role on both sides of the emerging global conflict.  On the Western side, socialism works together with large corporations to form the Servile State of the New World Order.  While on the Eastern side, socialism works together with radical Islam to form the emerging caliphate.  On both sides, Socialism (the brainchild of Karl Marx and Fredrick Engels), plays an intimate role.  Russia has always aligned more with the northern Arab states and Islamic powers, even since the days of the Soviet Union and the Cold War.  Since the end of the Cold War, the United States and NATO have consistently cut Russia out of any share in the New World Order.  So Russia has adopted a very hostile attitude toward the Servile State of the West.  The recent war in Georgia was one example of this, where the Russians cited the bogus charge of "ethnic cleansing" to seize an oil pipeline that spanned the northern frontier of Georgia.  Russia has also been working closely with Iran and Syria against Western influence in the Arab world.  This is why Western attempts to usurp Arab powers will likely backfire, as we are already beginning to see in Iraq and Egypt.  Likewise, Europe has seen a massive influx of Arab Muslims while hard-core Socialists (Marxist Russian style) have made inroads into European culture for years.  The alliance between hard Socialists and Islamic radicals is now playing out in the open for all the world to see.  The two are frequently seen protesting together throughout Europe, while emerging Islamist states in the Middle East are starting to implement hard Socialist policies.  The Russian Socialists and Islamic Arabs are working together AGAINST the Western centered Servile State in the New World Order.  Now the Russians probably have further plans to establish their own globalist power in the long run, while the Islamists clearly seek their own idea of a worldwide caliphate.  As far as the Islamists are concerned, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.  They are willing to work together against the Western New World Order until it is destroyed, and then duke it out with the Russians once that conflict is settled.

In the middle of all of this is the Zionist nation-state of Israel.  So it would seem Israel has been playing the Western New World Order with it's political and economic alliance with the United States.  That relationship is now strained and Israel's future is now in question.  There are those who would like us to believe Zionism is behind all of this.  I'm not so sure of that right now.  For the time being, it looks like Zionists have been playing the system to their advantage, but that's not the same as controlling it.  In the end, Israel has served the purpose of the West, and so the West tolerates it's existence for now.

Right now we are living in the days just before the End Game, the time when nations are preparing for the final conflict between East and West.  The West has formulated the New World Order.  It is a form of soft-socialism. combined with corporate hegemony.  It is the Servile State and it seeks to dominate the world.  The East fancies a harder form of Socialism, and seeks it's own global power, but that cannot be realized until the Western New World Order is crushed and the Socialists and Islamists duke it out to see who will be in control.  The Middle East has become a tinderbox with it's access to light crude in a peak oil economy.  While Zionist Israel has become the fuse with it's Israeli-Palestinian conflict.  The fuse will be ignited soon, and the whole region will go up in flames.  This is inevitable.

However, the flames will not stop in the Middle East.  The Socialist-Islamist alliance in Europe is very strong,  When the Middle East goes up in flames, Europe will likely follow, and with that we will begin to see the fulfillment of Catholic prophecy.  France, Italy and Britain will fall to social upheaval, on the order of that seen in Egypt and the Middle East.  What comes around goes around, so the saying goes, and as the West has orchestrated the failed attempts of "regime change" in the Arab world, so the East will orchestrate the same in the Western world.  Those of us who know Catholic prophecy know what will become of that.

For the time being, we are seeing calls to nationalism and patriotism.  This always precedes times of war.  The globalist agenda will likely enter into it's next phase the years ahead.  It will be precipitated by another global economic meltdown this year, or next year at the latest.  The underlying economic problems that prompted the crash of 2008 have not been addressed.  Therefore, another collapse is inevitable.  This collapse will be so deep, and so terrible, that it will likely prompt North Americans to choose between breadlines or economic unification.  Europe on the other hand will be plunged into a war for it's very existence.  This is when the best laid plans of the Western globalists and the Eastern anti-globalists will come to a head and begin to crumble for both sides.

It is prophesied, by the Saints of old, that God will use the wicked powers of the East to destroy the wicked plans of the West.  Then when the West has been brought to it's knees, facing total destruction, God will raise up a holy pope and a great monarch to defeat the powers of the East and restore order to Europe, and the world, under the reign of a vast Christian empire, unlike anything seen since the days of the Holy Roman Empire.  Somehow the nation of Russia plays into these prophecies.  Currently, Russia serves at the behest of the wicked socialist anti-globalists and is allied with Islamic radical powers.  But toward the end of the conflict, like in World War I, Russia will undergo a change that will cause it to withdraw from the arena of world affairs, and eventually bring it into alignment with the great monarch of the West.  Could this event be the reunification of the Russian Orthodox Church with Rome, (i.e. the "conversion of Russia") spurring the return of the czars?   Prior to World War I Russia was a Christian empire.  After World War I, Russia became a godless socialist republic.  Now as we approach World War III, Russia will enter the conflict as a godless socialist-fascist republic, but possibly emerge as a Christian empire again?  The prophecies, both Biblical and extra-Biblical seem to suggest some kind of cataclysmic event befalling Russia, prompting it's return to sanity.  This is the linchpin to the Catholic understanding of end-times prophecy.  Russia is the key.

Catholic prophecy also tells us of a period of peace that will follow this end game, whether it will last just one generation or many remains to be seen, and the prophecies themselves seem to leave this open ended.  After that period of peace however, man will return to his wicked ways.  Zionism will return with a new Messianic fervor, and the world will find itself in the clutches of the great and final Antichrist himself.  That day is coming, but it is not now.  Today we face the end of our current way of life, the clash and destruction of the globalist ambitions of Western secularist powers.  The likely fall of the Zionist regime in Israel, but not necessarily the end of Jews living in the Holy Land.  The terror of an Islamist-Socialist takeover of the world is upon us, followed by their own destruction through the intervention of God.

How does this relate to us right here and now?  First and foremost, don't fall for the propaganda.  The current world system cannot be saved.  The New World Order is destined for destruction.  Since the United States is so intimately involved in the New World Order, indeed the USA is mostly the catalyst behind it, the result of it's demise will be hard on America -- very hard.  Catholics should be aligning themselves with the pope and strongly relearning the catechism.  We should be careful not to let nationalist or globalist ideology cloud our judgement.  We should physically prepare ourselves by storing up some basic survival foods and necessities that will last us about a month.  Likewise, investing in hard currency, such as gold and silver, instead of soft currency (dollars, euros, etc.) would likely be prudent.  Finally, we must network with fellow Catholics and other Christians of good will toward us.  Beyond regular prayer and striving for personal holiness with charity, this is literally ALL we can do.  We can do no more but wait and watch it all unfold around us.

Catholics Cannot Be Zionists

(The Hindu) - In a July 24, 2002 meeting, U.S. Acting Deputy Chief of Mission George Frowick and Archbishop Antonio Veglio, Secretary of the Congregation for Eastern Churches, shared worries that “the Eastern Churches — the 22 Christian Rites that are not Roman Catholic but are in communion with Rome — face a number of challenges that cast long shadows over their future” (3387: confidential, dated July 26).

According to the [WikiLeaks] cable, Archbishop Veglio told Mr. Frowick that his “congregation, as elsewhere in the Holy See is deeply troubled by Israeli policies vis-à-vis the Palestinians,” which they viewed as a potential threat to Catholics in West Asia.

“The congregation will remain active in seeking to support the Palestinians as a means of preserving the remnants of the Catholic presence in the region,” the cable says....

(The Times) - Pope Benedict XVI arrived in Israel yesterday to make an appeal for peace in the Middle East, calling for the creation of a Palestinian homeland alongside the Jewish state.

In his address after stepping off an aircraft from Jordan, the Pope — on his first trip to the Holy Land — made the first of a series of speeches calling for peace, justice and security.

He has tried to avoid politics in what he says is a spiritual pilgrimage, but his call for a Palestinian homeland set him at odds with the right-wing Israeli Government, which has refused to back a two-state solution...

(CNN) - Roman Catholic bishops for the Middle East concluded a two-week conference with a call for the international community, especially the United Nations, to work "to put an end to the occupation" of Palestinian territories.

"The Palestinian people will thus have an independent and sovereign homeland where they can live with dignity and security," the group said in a statement Saturday at the end of a meeting headed by Pope Benedict XVI. "The State of Israel will be able to enjoy peace and security within their internationally recognized borders.

"The Holy City of Jerusalem will be able to acquire its proper status, which respects its particular character, its holiness and the religious patrimony of the three religions: Jewish, Christian and Muslim. We hope that the two-state-solution might become a reality and not a dream only."
The pope first publicly endorsed a two-state solution to the Middle East crisis during a visit to the region in May 2009. At the time, he assured Palestinians of the Vatican's support of a sovereign Palestinian homeland. It was a concept that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu resisted.....

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: Now this blog entry is going to upset a lot of people. Leave it to 'The Catholic Knight' to stir the pot a little. Let it never be said I'm a follower of a set political ideology. I attempt to conform my political views to something consistent with my religious beliefs. In other words, my religious beliefs don't "influence" my politics, they "define" them. We should all strive for this.

When it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, President Barack Obama has received much flack for his recent policy stand. The president effectively "reversed" U.S. policy on the matter last week, siding with the Palestinians on return to the pre-1967 borders, much to the chagrin of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who met with Obama shortly after, and conservative ideologues across the United States. For decades, Israel has been considered America's closest ally in the Middle East, in spite of occasional clashes between the CIA and the Mussad, along with Israeli spies apprehended in the United States. This close relationship between our two governments has led to the sharing of vital intelligence information and untold billions of dollars in American foreign aid to the Israeli government. The alliance has been more than political. At times it has taken on a religious fervor. American Evangelicals have for decades supported Israel unconditionally. This is because of the purely Evangelical Protestant belief system called Dispensational Theology.

To summarize, Dispensationalism is the doctrine that God has two "chosen peoples" not one. His first chosen people are the Jews and this relationship to them is codified in the Old Testament. Therefore the Jewish people should have their home in the promised land of the Old Testament and should be permitted to occupy all of it (because God wills it) and rebuild their ancient civilization, including their religious temple for sacrificial purposes. God's second chosen people are the Christians, which is codified by the New Testament, who live within the spiritual entity called "the church" and this is entirely separate to the nation-state of Israel. The job of the church in these latter times, according to Dispensationalism, is to peach the gospel and support the nation-state of Israel. Since preaching the gospel and supporting the nation-state of Israel are virtually synonymous, according to Dispensationalism, they are really one in the same purpose. So as far as Evangelical Protestants are concerned, a good Jew migrates to Israel, while a good Christian supports him. This is God's plan for the latter times, as far as contemporary Evangelical Protestantism teaches today. For Christians, the motive is to await the "rapture" and Second Coming of Christ. For Dispensationalism teaches that once all the Jews have finally migrated back to the nation-state of Israel, settled all the land, and rebuilt their temple, then Jesus Christ will return to "rapture" the church and usher in the End Times. This is why Evangelical televangelists can be seen every Sunday morning expressing their unwavering support for the Zionist state and proclaiming that failure to do so is tantamount to a lack of Christian faith.

The Catholic Church teaches that Dispensationalism is heresy. I have explained this in detail in my article entitled "The Catholic Church IS Israel." Catholics would do well to ponder this deeply before reading on.

The Evangelical position on many doctrines clash with Catholic teaching, and in this case, the Evangelical doctrine of Dispensationalism is so much at odds with the teachings of the Catholic Church that no Catholic can subscribe to it in good faith, and any political belief that might even remotely relate to it must be questioned. To build political policy based on a religious heresy is to set nations up for war, and it looks like that is exactly what has happened with America's unwavering support of Israel to the point of virtually giving them a blank check to do whatever they want.

Two political entities are at work here.

The first political entity is Zionism, and the second is the Republican Party. Neither has the best interest of Evangelical Christians in mind, but both use the Evangelical doctrine of Dispensationalism to their advantage. Zionism is a worldwide political movement. Zionism and Judaism are not the same. Judaism is just a religion. While as Zionism is the political mindset that Jews (both religious and non-religious) should have the right to retake their ancestral homeland and rebuild the glory that once was Zion (ancient Israel). Zionists have been at work to accomplish this goal for about a hundred years, and initially this was against the teachings of their most prominent Jewish rabbis, who had always previously taught that the promised Messiah must come first. The bulk of their dreams were realized in 1948 when Israel was declared a "Jewish nation." Prior to that, Jews living in the region, were at peace with their Arab neighbors. Conflicts between Jews and Muslims were minimal and insignificant. After the creation of the State of Israel, immediate war followed. Israel has been in a state of perpetual war ever since with no end in sight. A few Jewish rabbis have remained faithful to their ancient teachings regarding the Messiah and their ancestral homeland, and they say the reason why Israel is in a state of perpetual war is because Zionists have thwarted the will of God. They say God does not want the Jewish people to retake their ancestral homeland until AFTER the Messiah comes, and that the Messiah will lead them back to their ancestral homeland without conflict and strife. These Jewish rabbis say the reason why the nation-state of Israel suffers so much conflict today is because it does not have the blessing of God and that Jews in the region should work toward dismantling the "Jewish state" in favor of creating a secular state that is more hospitable to Jews, Muslims and Christians. Of course these few remaining faithful rabbis are virtually ignored by the Zionists, who rely heavily on American support in the Republican Party.

The second political entity of the Republican Party is heavily supported by the oil industry, freemasons and Western globalists. To understand this relationship we need to understand just a bit about "peak oil." When it comes to the Republican Party it all comes back to money. You see "peak oil" is defined as the time when consumption of oil matches and surpasses the amount of oil that can be extracted from oil reserves. This is not to say the oil reserves are exhausted -- far from it. In fact, there is evidence to suggest that these oil reserves are not "fossil fuels" but are in actuality a byproduct of continental plate tectonics. Thus oil may very well be a renewable energy. However, in spite of that, it can only be extracted from the earth so fast, due to limitations in technology. That being said, the United States hit it's "peak oil" production for American soil back in the 1970s. This is when we heavily shifted to foreign oil consumption, and it is also why we refuse to explore new oil reserves in Alaska. We are saving Alaskan oil reserves for when we hit the worldwide "peak oil" production. When that happens, gasoline will quickly jump to $10/gallon and our politicians hope our Alaskan oil reserves will keep our military operational while the world seeks another source of energy. In the mean time, we hope to exhaust everyone else's oil reserves. The only problem here is that Russia, Europe and China are competing with us on this. Our close alliance with Europe causes us to help each other in opposition to Russia and China. This explains our foreign policy in the Middle East. It really is all about oil. You see, our corporations in the United States and Europe try to make business deals with Middle Eastern regimes. If they cooperate with us, we make them rich. If they decide to do business with Russia or China instead, we send in CIA operatives to stir up a revolution against that regime. If it works, we deal with the new regime that takes over. If it doesn't work, then we send in our military under the pretense of "fighting terrorism" and "defending democracy." We erect a new regime using our military and then cut oil deals with them. It really has little to do with either terrorism or democracy. But it does have everything to do with positioning ourselves for the coming worldwide "peak oil" economy. Now don't blame the Republicans for this entirely. The Democratic Party plays this game too, as is evidenced by the actions of President Bill Clinton in the 1990s and President Barack Obama today. However, the Republicans are the architects to be sure, as they are mostly aligned with the oil companies. The Bush father-son presidential duo is a perfect example of this. Now if you want to understand American foreign policy in the Middle East, you only need to look at the list of nations we have intervened in either covertly or militarily. For example; Syria is now guilty of all the same human rights violations as Libya, yet it is Libya we bomb with our NATO partners. Why is this? The answer is simple. Syria produces almost nothing in regards to oil, but Libya supplies large quantities of oil to Europe. So the United States helps Europe secure it's oil supply by helping to orchestrate regime change in Libya, meanwhile Syria slaughters it's own people left and right, for the exact same reasons as Libya, while the United States does nothing. Again, oil is the reason. Syria doesn't produce hardly any oil and doesn't sell a drop to Europe or America anyway. So strategically speaking, it's useless. Now, all that being said, where does Israel fit into all of this. For nearly four decades Israeli geologists have been telling the United States that a vast oil reserve lies somewhere deep beneath Israeli soil. The massive level of geologic activity in this region seems to confirm this. We know for certain there are large deposits of natural gas in Israel, based on historical accounts of "fireballs" erupting from the Temple Mount when the Jews tried to rebuild the Temple under the reign of Caesar Julian (the apostate) back in the 4th century AD. Where there is natural gas, oil usually follows. Likewise, the Israeli geologists swear it's there, but getting to it is the trick. We are told Israel may actually have the largest oil reserve in the entire Middle East, and so you can begin to see why American politicians, particularly the Republican Party, back Israel unconditionally. However, when it comes to politics, oil is the last thing American politicians want to talk about. It doesn't look good you see, when certain groups of Muslim and Christian Arabs are being forced out of their homeland so Israeli Zionists can plunder their land and potential oil reserves. So both the Zionists and the Republican Party turn to religious fervor among Evangelicals, promoting their Dispensationalist theology for the purpose of supporting the Israeli government unconditionally.

The Zionists in Israel know the cat is out of the bag as far as the international community is concerned. They've lost the support of the world a long time ago. Only the United States remains as the sole stalwart of Israeli supremacy in the region. The Israeli government has played the race card for decades now, claiming that were it not for the Israeli government, the Jews in the Holy Land would have been driven into the sea. Historical analysis tells a completely different story though. Because Jews lived in peace with their Arab neighbors in the Holy Land for decades prior to 1948. It was only after 1948, when Israel declared independence as a "Jewish state" that Arab forces sought to drive them into the sea. It's a classic example of cause and effect. The cause was Israeli Zionist independence, the effect was Arab rage against the Israeli Zionists. It was not the other way around. Now, thanks to decades if Israeli actions against Palestinian Arabs, what they say may actually be true. If the Arab Muslims ever do get the upper hand again, they may very well drive the Jews into the sea. This is not because Arabs inherently hate Jews, as many Zionists would like us to believe, but because they have for decades been rallied against the Israeli government and everything the Zionist state represents. Prior to 1948 the Arabs were relatively pacified in the Middle East. After 1948 extremists have been able to rally Arab Muslims into a frenzy that threatens to become a regional caliphate.

So now what?

We know what the Zionists and the Republican Party want. The Republican Party believes there is oil beneath Israel, and they will support Israel unconditionally so long as they believe that. We know the Zionists just want to rebuild their ancestral homeland for idealogical reasons. What we don't know is if the Israeli Zionists are lying to the Republicans by giving them bogus geological data. We don't know if oil really exists there or not. Even if it does exist, we have to ask ourselves if our unconditional support of Israel justifies the Israeli mistreatment of Palestinian Arabs (both Muslims and Christians). The United States government has already demonstrated that it doesn't give a rat's tail about Christians in the Middle East, and would gladly sacrifice them for access to Arab oil. This is evidenced by the plight of Christians in Iraq and Egypt right now. America caused the regime change in Iraq under G.W. Bush, while it supported the regime change in Egypt under Barack Obama. In both cases, Christians are now being subjected to a bloodbath, while American and European corporations are securing their oil deals.

The position of the Vatican has consistently been one of Christian charity. Regardless of the "peak oil" situation, Western nations should act according to their Christian heritage, by dealing with the Israel-Palestinian problem with fairness and objectivity. This is why the Vatican supports the two-state solution. While it was initially supported by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush (to their credit), the only point of contention has been the borders of this proposed division. The question remains as to whether the CIA had been working with terrorists in Israel to insure this agreement never really took place, and thus give the Zionists reason to take more land away from the Palestinian Arabs. That would be consistent with CIA actions in Egypt, Libya, and other Arab nations. We know that the United States would throw Israel under the bus just as soon as they cut an oil deal with the Palestinian Arabs. Maybe this explains Obama's recent actions of "switching sides" to favor the Palestinians' call for a return to the pre-1967 borders. There is no way to know what is really going on in the Whitehouse on this. I suspect the Whitehouse is growing impatient, however, on Israel's claim to a massive oil production that has not yet materialized.

What we as Catholic Americans should know is that we absolutely cannot trust our own government on this issue. Case in point, we were assured by the G.W. Bush administration that Christians would be safe in Iraq under American occupation and an Iraqi democracy. The opposite has proved to be true. We were given the same assurances by the Obama administration in regards to Egypt. Again, we were lied to. So when it comes to foreign policy in the Middle East, about the only thing Catholics (indeed all Christians) can really trust is the policy of the Vatican.

The Vatican's position is that in the name of Christian charity to both parties, there must be a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and this solution must be brokered soon. The issue of the borders will be settled by the parties involved, but naturally there is going to have to be some Israeli concession on illegal Jewish settlements. I'm not sure Obama's call to the pre-1967 borders is the right solution, but I do think he is trying to swing the pendulum in the other direction to compensate for previous American policy favoring Israel. One thing this does signal is that the Whitehouse will support whatever land for peace deal the disputing parties can agree on. That, ironically, puts the Whitehouse more in line with the Vatican's position than anything previously seen over the last four decades. Now readers of this blog know 'The Catholic Knight' is no fan of Obama, but regular readers should also know I always try to give credit where credit is due. On this one, I think Obama is leaning in the right direction, though his proposed pre-1967 solution is probably unrealistic.

For The Tornado Victims In Joplin Missouri

St. Mary's Catholic Church and School
Before Tornado
THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: Having lived in the Ozarks for many years I can tell you tornadoes of this magnitude are unusual here. Most of the plains storms lose their punch before hitting the Ozarks and then regain strength after passing through our mountain range. So the power of this tornado on Sunday May 22, 2011 caught the people of Joplin Missouri completely off guard.

The twister was approximately a mile wide, wiping out a large Catholic hospital and at least one Catholic parish and school.  An uncountable number of homes were destroyed, as well as a large swath of commercial property.  The entire southern portion of Joplin looks as if its been carpet bombed for weeks.  Some have compared the devastation to the blast of a small atomic bomb.  At last count 116 people were confirmed dead.  That number is expected to rise, and approximately 1,500 people are still unaccounted for.  It is the worst storm to hit Missouri in over half a century.

St. Mary's Catholic Church and School
After Tornado
I understand that many people were just doing their Sunday evening shopping at the local Wal Mart super-center when it hit.  They're still pulling bodies out of the rubble from that store.  I also heard people had less than a five-minute warning between when the storm sirens went off and when the tornado actually hit.  That's not enough time to do much.  Again, that is virtually unheard of in the Ozark Mountains.  I've been here for a while, and I've never seen or heard of anything like this in this particular region.

The storm on Sunday evening was followed by the most beautiful double rainbow I've ever seen.  It had colors I've never seen in a rainbow before.  Were the storm not so destructive, it might have been more enjoyable to watch.

The local bishop, James V. Johnston, has already toured the region and visited the parishes destroyed by the tornado.  His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI has also sent his condolences and blessings.  More severe storms are scheduled to hit the region tonight and tomorrow.

WikiLeaks -- North American Union

(WND) - A document posted online by WikiLeaks reveals there were strategy discussions regarding the adoption of a "North American Union" – called the North American Initiative in this case – at the ambassadorial level in the United States government.

The concept of a North American Union largely has been ridiculed by many in government and media. The Wikipedia entry on North American Union calls it a "theoretical economic union" that has "been the subject of various conspiracy theories."

However, WND has built an extensive library of reports that document progress toward the idea, and best-selling author Jerome Corsi's book, "The Late Great USA," shows how the Security and Prosperity Partnership, an agreement signed in 2005 by President George W. Bush, threatens American sovereignty.

The WikiLeaks document was uncovered by investigators with Americans for Legal Immigration, and the organization reports they "appear to confirm an incremental and covert plan within the highest levels of the American and Canadian governments to accomplish deeper 'North American Integration,' while keeping most average citizens in the dark and bypassing the constitutions of the existing three sovereign nations of America, Canada and Mexico."

ALIPAC spokesman William Gheen told WND, "This is the smoking gun. This is not conjecture. This is a high-ranking member of the U.S. government who created this document....

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT:  The "conspiracy theories" are not theories anymore.  There is a plan in the works to merge the United States, Canada and Mexico into a unified economic trading block much akin to the European Union.  The plan has been dubbed by many as the "North American Union" or NAU.   It is in the works.  BOTH the Democrats and the Republicans in Washington DC support it, as well as many politicians in Canada and Mexico.  IT WILL BECOME REALITY.  I guarantee it just as sure as I am writing this blog entry right now.  I don't know when it will happen, but I guarantee it WILL happen, and there is nothing any of us can do to stop it.

I'm sorry my readers, but this ship has already sailed.  The precursor conditions that will bring about the NAU are already in place.  They are playing out according to plan.  The economic crash of 2008 and 2009 was part of it.  The second dip of that crash will likely hit us within the next 12 to 18 months at the latest.  The nearly $15 trillion national debt America has amassed is also part of the plan.  The entitlement programs that are about to implode are also part of the plan.  The rampant illegal entry into the United States by Mexican nationals is also part of the plan.  All of this is designed to produce one specific result, and it's been in the works for the last twenty years my friends.  We are now approaching the end of the game plan, not the beginning.

Proposed designs for Amero coinage.
Who were the major players?  Well in the United States the following presidents contributed a significant role to this cause:  George H. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.  Yes my friends, this plan has been in the works for at least 23 years, since 1988, and four U.S. presidents have been intimately involved in it.  The Bush's were the primary architects, but they received the full support and cooperation of presidents Clinton and Obama.  We've been had.  We were snookered.  Yes, my readers, our leaders did this right under our noses, and I'm afraid it's too late to stop it now.

The forces in play to finish the job are now unstoppable.  In a very short time we will see the second dip of the recession/depression started with the stock market crash of 2008.  This time there will be no money left to bail the banks out.  Simultaneously, we will likely witness runaway inflation, making the American dollar nearly worthless.  When this happens, radical changes will need to be made across the North American continent, or else we will face starvation and civil unrest throughout Mexico, the USA and Canada.  Fortunately for us, our leaders have already developed a "solution" to the "problem" they created.  In exchange for breadlines and abject poverty, our leaders will propose a monetary solution to fix all three nations and stabilize the continent.  The push will be to stabilize all three nations (US, Canada and Mexico) because of the vast borders shared by all three nations.  The argument will be put forward that if only the USA fixes it's currency problem, Canada will be plunged into third-world status and Mexico will erupt in total civil war causing a flood of illegal refugees from both nations to cross our borders.  So the push will be to stabilize all three economies simultaneously, to prevent this humanitarian crisis and thus create better stability for our borders.

The solution will be totally economic.  The proposal will be to fix the monetary and trade problems only.  The initial push will be for a North American Community or NAC, which will initially involve trade alone, along with a unified currency.  The national currencies may not even be eliminated at first, but the Amero will be put forward as an alternate currency which must be accepted as legal tender in all three nations.  The Amero will be backed by either gold or silver, and through the Amero the rest of the NAU will begin to take shape. The American people will for the most part embrace it, as will the Mexican people and the Canadian people as well.  This is because the economic situation will appear so grim that it will seem as if the end of the world has come upon us.  The proposed economic solution of the Amero will appear to be the only viable alternative to complete and total collapse.  Sadly, because of what the leaders of all three nations have already done over the last two decades, this general assumption will be for the most part accurate.   Failure to embrace the Amero will likely result in Mexican civil war, coupled with Canadian economic implosion and civil unrest within the United States.  The people will truly be faced with a choice between the Amero or anarchy.

US - Canadian Military Merger in 2008
What many people do not know is that other aspects of the NAU are already in place, namely the joint military merger between the United States and Canada.  This was done back in 2008, and the Knight covered the story here.  Likewise many more things are being done quietly, behind the scenes, with virtually no media fanfare.  All the pieces are in place, and sadly, any attempt to maintain American, Canadian or Mexican sovereignty will likely result in anarchy as soon as the final lever is pulled.  I hate to say this my friends, but I'm afraid that the 235 year American experiment is nearly over.  We will soon be subjected to the will of a government greater than our own.

Rapture Ready?

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: In light of recent news about the Rapture coming tonight at 6pm Eastern daylight time, The Catholic Knight would like to inform all my readers that we Catholics will NOT be participating in said event.

This is because nearly all of the books on the Rapture make it clear that Catholics are going to be Left Behind. This is primarily due to our "Mary worship" and cannibalism. Papalism and necromancy may also play a role.

So unpack you bags an feel free to eat a heavy dinner. We will not be flying tonight. This has been a public service announcement from 'The Catholic Knight.'

Novus Ordo Mass Set For Extinction

Elevation during the (Tridentine) "Extraordinary Form" of the Roman Rite
THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: The Novus Ordo mass, as we know it today, has been selected for extinction. That's the word from one high-ranking official in the Vatican...
(Catholic Culture) - The Instruction issued this week, underlining Pope Benedict’s desire for wider use of the “extraordinary form” of the Mass, is part of the Pontiff’s overall plan for a liturgical “reform of the reform,” according to one top Vatican official.

Cardinal Kurt Koch, the new president of the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity, said that the Pope hopes for the eventual development of a newly reformed liturgy, combining elements of both the traditional Latin Mass and the Novus Ordo liturgy...

This "newly formed liturgy" does not necessarily imply an extinction of the Tridentine mass as we know it. Rumors have been circulating in Rome for years now that an entirely new Roman Missal is in the works, and some claim to have seen a prototype of it. If indeed such a prototype does exist, it is more likely a working model for development, and not anything that will be released anytime in the near future. The existence of "two forms" of the Roman Rite, both ordinary and extraordinary, is an odd development in the history of the Catholic Church. It is the result of what Pope Benedict XVI referred to as the "hermeneutic of rupture" following the misinterpretations and misapplications of the Second Vatican Council. By bringing the Tridentine liturgy back to the forefront of the Church as the "extraordinary form" of the Roman right, the pope hopes to reintroduce a "hermeneutic of continuity" back into the mainstream Church. By allowing the "ordinary form" and "extraordinary form" to exist side-by-side for a set period of time, the Holy Father hopes to allow a natural and organic development of tradition to unfold, drawing the two forms closer together in practice, as priests learn to celebrate the ordinary form with more extraordinary reverence. This coupled with better vernacular translations and liturgical guidance from the Vatican, will in a relatively short time revive the historical tradition of the Roman Catholic ethos.

The idea here is that a time will come, someday in the not-too-distant future (perhaps in another 8 to 16 years) when the separation of the two forms will no longer be necessary. A new missal will be released, which will essentially be Tridentine in nature, but with an expanded lectionary, tightening the rubrics for the Liturgy of the Eucharist in comparison to today's Novus Ordo, and loosening the rubrics for the Liturgy of the Word in comparison to today's Tridentine mass. Thus the Liturgy of the Eucharist would be set in stone, thoroughly Tridentine in nature, while the Liturgy of the Word would have some flexibility. Priests who want to make their celebration as traditional as possible will be able to do so easily, and exclusively in Latin if they prefer. While priests who want to make their celebration a bit more contemporary will also do so easily, likely using the vernacular translations. The Liturgy of the Eucharist would remain constant for all priests, regardless of their persuasion, and the canon of the mass (the consecration itself) will likely be said exclusively in Latin, regardless of the vernacular translation being used for the rest of the liturgy. This is what the 'Knight' has heard will be the framework of a future Missal for the Roman Rite.

Meanwhile the pope has made it clear that the Anglican ordinariates are to develop their own exclusive liturgy which will be based loosely on 'Rite One' from the Book of Divine Worship. This new liturgy will be used throughout ALL the Anglican ordinariates, without exception, not excluding the two forms of the Roman Rite which may be celebrated as well. Elements from the Sarum Use will likely be introduced to this Anglican ordinariate liturgy as well as some very "Tridentine-like" rubrics. In time, it is possible this will become a very popular liturgy for the English-speaking people throughout the world.

The Novus Ordo mass, as we know it today, has been slated for extinction. The horrid English translation of the Novus Ordo mass will expire later this year. The liturgical abuses and innovations that followed it, will likewise be dealt with one by one in the coming years. The clergy that gave us the Novus Ordo culture and the "hermeneutic of rupture" are likewise slated for retirement in the years ahead. The new seminarians coming out now are far more traditional and orthodox in nature. A fundamental paradigm shift has just occurred with the release of Summorum Pontificum (2007), Universae Ecclesiae (2011) and Anglicanorum Coetibus (2009). It's a paradigm shift that is unstoppable now, but won't be realized in it's fullness for at least a decade. By then the Catholic Church will have been so radically transformed from what it is today that it will be barely recognizable to the modern Catholic, but strikingly familiar to the ancient Catholic.

What becomes of the Novus Ordo mass, and poor vernacular translations, we are all so painfully familiar with today? They will live on of course, just no longer in the Catholic Church. They will become the designated liturgy for wannabe-catholic Protestant denominations and schismatic-liberal Catholic sects that left full-communion with the Church in rebellion over women's ordination and other heretical notions.

How to Save Europe

(Zenit.org) - The original idea of the European Union has deep roots in Catholic social teaching, according to the author of a book on Robert Schumann, one of the founders of the institution.
Catholic historian Alan Fimister, author of "Robert Schumann: Neo-scholastic Humanism and the Unification of Europe," published by Peter Lang, affirms that Schuman's actions in 1950 to found what would later be the European Union were, to a remarkable degree, the conscious implementation of the Neo-Thomistic project of Pope Leo XIII (1878-1903).

In this interview with ZENIT, Fimister discusses the Catholic vision of the European Union's founders and what it means for a Catholic understanding of the European Union today....

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT:  I've written on this before, but since then every major EU leader has publicly admitted that multiculturalism is a failure.  The pope has publicly prayed that God will spare Europe from extinction.  What many dismissed as the Knight's musings on a problem that didn't really exist has now been verified by every major European leader.  So, now that I'm in good company again, The Catholic Knight will once again identify the problem, and then spell out a solution that is guaranteed to work.  The only thing stopping it from working would be failure to implement it.

THE PROBLEM Europe is now experiencing is demographic in nature.  It is a problem that WILL get worse in the years ahead, unless Europe acts quickly to change the course of it's future.  The problem is directly caused by multiculturalism, which is a logical extension of moral relativism when it comes to immigration policy.  You see, after World War II, most Europeans began to lose faith in their Christian roots as a people. They not only lost faith in Christ personally, but socially as a people as well.  This is not to say every European fits this description, but a vast majority of them do.  Now with this loss of faith what followed was a decline in the number of children.  You see, prior to World War II, virtually every Christian denomination (with the exception of Anglicanism) taught that artificial birth control was morally wrong.  After World War II many Christian denominations (with the exception of the Catholic Church) loosened it's teaching on this, allowing for artificial contraception.  The fact that most Christian denominations caved in on this social issue is incidental, because at around the same time most Europeans were turning away from their Christian faith anyway.  This collective trend caused the birth rate in European nations to plummet.  Simultaneously, European nations had implemented sweeping socialist policies throughout the continent, creating a welfare state to care for the poor, sick and elderly.  This in itself might not have been too big of a problem were it not for the declining population due to the falling birthrate.  European nations were immediately confronted with the problem of not having enough revenue from younger taxpayers to cover their entitlement obligations.  Since European governments couldn't force people to make more babies, indeed they couldn't even bribe them (because they tried), they were left with no choice but to import new taxpayers with loose immigration laws.  Since multiculturalism was the rule of the day, European nations opened their doors wide to massive floods of North African and Arab Muslims.  These Muslims refused to integrate with European culture, and instead maintained their Muslim beliefs along with their Muslim birthrates.  The average native European birthrate was less than 2 children per household.  While the average Muslim European birthrate was approximately 8 children per household.  Do the math!  This is why many sociologists agree that Europe will be a Muslim majority before 2050, and some Euro nations will hit that landmark by 2030 -- within just 20 years!  This is why the leaders of England, France and Germany have just this year publicly admitted that multiculturalism is a failure, and the pope has recently prayed to God publicly that Europeans would be spared from becoming a "non-people."

THE SOLUTION is simple.  Europe only needs to do three things.  First, the European Union, and hopefully all European nations along with it, need to make some kind of non-binding legal resolution simply recognizing the Christian origins of modern Europe.  Both popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI have stated this is necessary toward healing the wounds of moral relativism and multiculturalism on the European continent.  Second, the European Union, along with every EU member-state, must give a "most favored" immigration status to North Americans with European ancestry dating back 100 years.  A quick review of 20th century history shows that massive waves of European immigrants entered the United States and Canada over the last 100 years.  This migration resulted in a great collective loss to the European continent.  It was a gain for North America, and a loss for Europe.  That tide can be reversed IF Europe wants it to be.  It can be done by making a simple law of jus sanguinis (Latin: "right of blood"), stating that any North American, under the age of 50, who can trace his/her ancestry to a European citizen within the last 100 years, has the right to immediate return to his ancestral country, application for EU citizenship, and a fast-track path toward citizenship within his ancestral country.  Third, The EU must stabilize the value of the Euro by backing it with a commodity with intrinsic value.  That could be gold, silver, copper or something of similar real worth.  The reason why this needs to be done is because the United States dollar is about to implode, and in fact, in spite of Europe's current sovereign debt crisis and impending defaults, the US dollar is in a much more vulnerable position due to the massive national debt of the United States.  By setting the Euro to something of intrinsic value immediately, the EU could stabilize the Euro while the dollar is suffering from major inflation over the coming years.  This economic instability in the United States will cause many Americans and Canadians to look elsewhere for a better standard of living.  Both Americans and Canadians are generally more religious than Europeans, so an EU non-binding recognition of Christianity will make Europe more attractive in a social sense.  While jus sanguinis laws, coupled with a stable Euro, will make for quick access to a potentially better standard of living.  This will likely result in massive immigration of Americans and Canadians with direct European ancestry back to Europe.  Virtually all of them will either have families already, or else be of age to start having children immediately.  Simultaneously, the loss of large population segments of this type in North America will keep the United States and Canada in an economic tailspin while the EU will find itself in the middle of the biggest economic boom in centuries.  The population of European Christians will increase dramatically and the need for Muslim immigration will cease to exist.

The problem is real and the plan will work.  The only question is this.  Are Europeans smart enough to implement it?

An Open Letter To Claire McCaskill

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: The following is an open letter to Senator Claire McCaskill. It will remain on the Internet indefinitely as a perpetual reminder of her moral failure as a Roman Catholic in the scope of her duties as a public servant...
Dear Senator McCaskill,

You were elected Senator by the people of Missouri and in doing so you were given a sacred trust. You swore to defend the Constitution of the United States, but years prior to that you pledged your life to Christ and His one, holy, Catholic and apostolic Church. Nations rise and nations fall Senator. Your term as senator is just a fleeting vapor in the history of the United States. One day the United States will no longer exist as we know it today. That's not a prophecy but just a matter of historical observation. America, as we know it, will be gone Senator, but the Catholic Church will remain. It's laws will far outlive those of this great nation. It's teachings will continue on for eternity. You know this Senator. You were baptized and confirmed a Roman Catholic.
You were taught the truths concerning the Eucharist, and you know that God is present in spite of what you see and taste. You were also taught about the sanctity of human life early on. You know what the Church teaches, and you know that a child is present in the mother's womb even though you can't see her directly. You know this Senator, and yet you compromise on your deepest and most sacred beliefs. You play the game of moral relativism. You know the one I'm talking about. It's the one where you say that while you're personally against abortion, you do not believe it is right to deny another the "freedom" to choose. Yes Senator, that is moral relativism. It's the same kind of moral relativism that was used a century and a half ago in regards to slavery. You know what I'm talking about. It's the kind of relativism where Southern politicians would say that while they were personally opposed to slavery, they didn't believe it was right for them to deny another American the "freedom" to own slaves. Today we look back on those politicians with disdain. We are shocked and appalled that any human being could think that way, but that's only because the curse of slavery has been lifted from us, and hindsight is always twenty-twenty. Someday the curse of abortion will eventually be removed from us Senator, and when that day comes, our progeny will look back on you with a similar disdain. I say similar, because it will not be exactly the same. The disdain they will cast upon you will be worse than the disdain placed upon the slavery politicians of the nineteenth century. Worse yet Senator, your name will be listed among the villains of Church history, along with your "pro-choice" Catholic colleagues in the Senate and the House. Long after the United States has faded into history, clergymen will point to you, and others like you, as an example of what not to do, and how not to be. You will be remembered in history as the poster child of what poor episcopal discipline does to the Church. You will be known as the example of what happens when priests don't do their jobs. You will be known as a Catholic who abdicated her moral responsibility and looked the other way, winked and nodded while the worst Holocaust in human history transpired beneath your nose.
It doesn't have to be this way Senator. You are not a victim of fate, you do have a choice, and as of the date of this writing, there is still time left in your term. You can change Senator. You can repent. There is still time. Before your term expires Senator, is there not just one thing you can do to demonstrate a change of heart? Is there not just one thing?

Praying for you,

The Catholic Knight

A Mountain of Skulls

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT:  Radio talk show host Michael Savage said it best.  I wish I had said it first.  Class warfare, which calls for "economic fairness" and the redistribution of wealth, always ends up the same way, in a mountain of skulls.  This is the legacy of Marxism in all it's forms (Communism, Socialism, Fascism and Liberal Progressivism).  The fundamental failure of America's education systems is to distinguish that these economic theories are all variants of the same economic premise invented by Karl Marx.  Call it what you like.  Call is Socialism if you fancy.  That's what the Soviets did.  As far as the Soviets were concerned, there never was such a thing as communism in their country.  The "evil empire" they created was officially called the "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics" or "USSR."  The word "communist" never entered their vocabulary, except as an abstract ideal they were working toward, but did not currently exist under their Socialist state.  Or you can call it Fascism of you like.  Benito Mussolini, who I suspect knew a thing or two about it, defined fascism simply as the joint ownership of industry by both the state and private corporations.  You can call it Liberalism or Progressivism if that makes you feel better.  Because when you dig down into the rhetoric used by liberal college professors, Democratic Party hacks and the mainstream media elites, it all sounds strikingly familiar.  It is the same dirty water, drawn from the same polluted well, simply packaged in a different kind of bucket.  It's class warfare and wealth redistribution, which equals Marxism, which inevitably results in the same thing -- a mountain of skulls.

The highest officially documented death tolls under Marxist regimes occurred in the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin, in the People's Republic of China under Mao Zedong, and in Cambodia under the Khmer Rouge. The estimates of the number of innocent civilians (non-combatants) killed by these three regimes alone number about 70 million.  This does not include smaller Marxist regimes such as North Korea, Vietnam, and Cuba. These also have their records of mass murder.  (Speaking of Cuba, I have a personal stake here as my own family was driven out of Cuba by Gerardo Machado in 1929, after my great-grandfather, a major sugar cane producer, was shot in the back by one of Machado's henchmen.  Yes, The Catholic Knight is all too familiar with the evils of Marxism on a personal family level.)  This is something that every Roman Catholic MUST UNDERSTAND.  Marxist rhetoric such as class warfare, economic "justice" and wealth redistribution ALWAYS results in DEATH - always, ALWAYS, ALWAYS!!!  The only thing that varies is how much death and how often.

Our Lady of Fatima warned us of this.  This was the core of her message.  By turning to the government for the solution to man's problems, instead of Christ and his Church, the end result would be the ruin of the souls, the tyranny of the state and ultimately a mountain of skulls.

Marxism is about wealth redistribution, and it starts with class warfare.  It is the forbidden fruit of the modern world.  One bite of it and your faith begins to die.  That's not to say that Capitalism is the answer.  I'm not defending Capitalism, because we all know that terrible injustices have been committed (and still continue) under Capitalism.  Regular readers of this blog know The Catholic Knight is a Distributist, which means I believe in the free market -- a truly free market -- free of monopolies both public and private.  Capitalism is about unregulated market forces, and this in turn results in monopolies, which in turn result in the tyranny of the corporate class.  Notice I didn't say "tyranny of the rich."  That's because the rich are not to blame.  There is nothing wrong or immoral about being rich.  In fact, the world needs rich people, and so does the Church, because it is through the rich that wealth is naturally distributed, both in the form of wages and charity.  When money is in the hands of people -- even rich people -- one of two things tends to happen to it.  Either the rich person decides to get richer, which in turn requires him to invest some of his money in employees and contractors (i.e. wages and contracts), or else he decides to give some away in the form of charity.  Oftentimes however, elements of both scenarios happen simultaneously.  Sorry, that's just how the real world works, in spite of what you've been told.  The Church in turn encourages both charity and capital development, allowing the rich the opportunity to acquire more wealth if they are so inclined, while at the same time giving them the opportunity to help others both in the form of creating jobs and charitable contributions to the poor.  It's not a perfect system, because people aren't perfect, but it does work pretty well, and it has worked for nearly two-thousand years.

The problem comes when two extreme forms of thought enter the scene.  The first extreme is Capitalism, which is actually a perversion of the free market, not a product of it.  Under Capitalism, free market businessmen are permitted to form corporations.  A corporation is a legal entity that exists solely on paper and is afforded many of the "rights" given to a human being.  It allows businessmen to "work" for the corporation, in the same way an employee might work for an employer.  Remember, however, the corporation does not really exist.  It is simply a legal entity created on paper with no real existence outside of the law.  Those working for the corporation may now do whatever they wish, claiming they are doing it in the name of the corporation as an employee, and that it is really the corporation that directs their actions.  This arrangement opens the door to all sorts of immorality and unethical business practices.  The corporation can acquire an ungodly amount of wealth, beyond what any single human being can possibly need, desire or consume.  It can legally marry (mergers) and produce children (subsidiaries), having all the legal rights of a human being, though it is not human and cannot be prosecuted for it's illegal activities.  Furthermore, there is one thing the corporation can do that no human being can do, and that is live forever!  Yes, the corporation is immortal.  It lives on from one generation to the next, and yet it has no soul.  It is a legal "person" created by the state, at the request of businessmen, for the purpose of engaging in activities that they themselves would never do as private individual entrepreneurs.  In addition to this, these corporations regularly engage in the practice of lobbying for tax breaks and political favors.  Some have called this Corporatism, but regardless of what you call it, it is the hallmark of Capitalism.  G.K. Chesterton once said: "Too much capitalism does not mean too many capitalists, but too few capitalists."  By this he meant that Capitalism does not produce a free market, even though it chants "free market" as it's mantra.  What Capitalists really mean by "free market" is a market free for big corporations to trample the rights of small business and labor.  A real free market is not Capitalism, but rather a market where men are not permitted to form artificial persons (monopolistic corporations) in law designed to gain control of the government and trample the rights of their fellow man.  Rather, a truly free market is a market where everybody has an equal opportunity to make a business or trade for himself.   It's a market where one can pick from hundreds of different shoe manufacturers not just a couple dozen.  It's a market where one can choose to shop at dozens of general store outlets, not just a one or two (at the most) super-centers. It's a market where any man (or woman) can take his life savings, buy a storefront, and with good business practices, have a pretty good shot at making a living.  It's a market where any man (or woman) can use the same life savings, buy a few acres of land and start growing a crop to sell at the local general stores, once again making a fair living in the process.  A truly free market is a market where everyone is free to enter the market, use it, and make a living at doing it.  That is the free market.  The philosophy behind it is called "Distributism" and it's biggest promoter is the Roman Catholic Church.  It is the system that Western civilization was built on, before it was taken over and ruined by the godless ideologies of Capitalism and Marxism.

Socialism in turn is the knee jerk reaction to Capitalism, just as Karl Marx predicted and advocated.  Both are godless systems.  The biggest promoters of Capitalism in history were atheists, and the same can be said of Marxism in all it's forms (Socialism, Fascism, Communism, Liberalism or Progressivism).  Capitalism, in the name of the "free market" robs the people of a truly free market, and then the people react with class warfare.  This is the bait people -- pay attention.  Politicians and elitist advocates of Marxism begin a campaign of class warfare, blaming the "rich" and the supposed "free market" (as understood by Capitalism) for their problems.  The call to "fairness" and "justice" is bantered to rally the people into a political revolution, designed to rob the monopolies and corporations of their property, and transfer it into the hands of the state, either partially (as in Fascism) or totally (as in Socialism), with the promise that this will result in greater wealth for the common man.  Sadly, from a purely historical perspective, we know it is all LIES.  It NEVER happens this way.  Instead, what really happens is this.  Once the civil authorities are given the power to seize private property and redistribute wealth, they go through the country taking every one's private property, capturing (and usually killing) anyone who they think might be a threat to the program, and then doling out a meager stipend to the common man, which is usually just barely enough to live on, if even that.  Once the state owns everything, either totally or partially, it becomes the ultimate monopoly, unable to be challenged by any small entrepreneur under penalty of law.  The Utopian promise of the communist state, where everybody owns everything in common, an no government is needed anymore, fails to materialize.  Instead of sharing the wealth, the misery is spread equally, except among those in charge of spreading the misery, who in turn become the beneficiary of government favors.  Communism, as envisioned by Marx, never materializes because people are involved, and people are inherently corrupt by our fallen sinful nature.

This fallen sinful nature causes human beings to do horrible and unspeakable things to their fellow man.  In a Capitalist system where corporations are given power to do all sorts of unethical things in the name of their bogus "free market" mantra, the oppression of the masses will soon follow.  In a Marxist system where the state is given the power to seize all private property, either partially or totally, the result is again the oppression of the masses.  The difference between them is this.  When corporations kill people (and yes, they do occasionally kill people), they must do so quietly and in stealth.  They can never let the number of deaths get too high, for fear they may get found out.  Instead they prefer to use Capitalist-driven governments to kill people for them, to do their bidding, in the name of some abstract ideal, such as "defending freedom" or "establishing democracy."  However, when Socialist states kill people, they are much less discrete.  They rummage through the population, selecting anyone who might possibly present a threat to their Socialist system, and kill them without regard as enemies of the state.  Sorry, this is just the historical fact, and there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to believe it couldn't happen here in the United States.  It's already happened as close as Cuba.  Europe has already seen it happen more than once. Only the United States and Canada have been spared -- so far.  However, the rhetoric exists here too, and we are only just a few steps away, at any given moment, from watching the cycle repeat itself on American soil.

Roman Catholics WAKE UP!  When we look at Marxists such as Michael Moore, and Capitalists such as Sean Hannity, debating each other on FoxNews, we have to understand that neither of these "Catholics" represent the authentic economic teaching of the Catholic Church.  Michael Moore perverts it, and Sean Hannity has no idea what it is.  Both of these men are pied pipers leading the children of the Catholic Church into destruction.  Don't fall for it!  Look to the teachings of Rome for the answers.  The popes have written extensively on this topic.  The economic teaching of the Catholic Church is centered around the freedom to buy, use and sell property, coupled with the mandate for charitable giving TO THE CHURCH and not to the state.  Only the Church, and privately run charitable organizations, are competent to handle and redistribute the wealth of the people in the form of food, clothing, shelter and medical care.  The state is completely and totally incompetent in this area, as evidenced by history.  That's not to say the state doesn't have a role in society.  The Church teaches quite the opposite.  The state has a positive mandate to provide law and order, basic infrastructure, and defend God-given human rights.  It may even have a role in coordination of private and religious charity to maximize it's impact in areas where it is needed the most.  It does not, however, have a mandate to become our nanny, and replace the role of the Church and private charity.  I have written extensively on this subject HERE in my article entitled "Social Justice vs. Socialism," and if you want to learn more about Distributism you can start with a free online periodical called The Distributist Review.  I have also provided great links to Distributist books in the margins of this article.

Debt Crisis Is Designed to Push USA into NAU

The latest design for the flag of the NAU.
FLASHBACK 5-19-2006: (Human Events) - President Bush is pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada. This was the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration's true open borders policy.

Secretly, the Bush administration is pursuing a policy to expand NAFTA politically, setting the stage for a North American Union designed to encompass the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. What the Bush administration truly wants is the free, unimpeded movement of people across open borders with Mexico and Canada.

President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed....

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: Make no mistake about it, this current national economic and debt crisis is part of an overall agenda, and will be used as a catalyst to further advance the North American Union or "NAU." As the value of the dollar plummets in the months ahead, thanks to massive printing of dollars to pay for these "economic stimulus packages," healthcare overhaul and national deficits, the case for a new continental currency (the "Amero") will be pushed forward. As the Mexican government continues to collapse, the case for further Mexican integration with America and Canada will be pushed. The architects of the North American Union are right on track with their plan to eliminate American sovereignty, and if you think President Obama is going to do anything to stop this, think again, because if you believe that I've got a bridge I would like to sell you, along with some beach front property in Arizona.

With the end of American sovereignty within sight, the panorama of our 230+ years of existence as a free nation comes into question. What was it all about? If this is where things are going, why did America's Founding Fathers bother to rebel against the English crown in the first place? They say we did it for self government, but now we are about to hand over our independence to some imperial monstrosity of our own making - the North American Union. Was it all really worth it? Where do we go from here?

For now, it seems that all appeals toward American patriotism have failed, or have had only transient success, and indeed it would seem our own government is being intentionally wrecked to force this upon us. The more we appeal to our own independence and sovereignty, the more that independence and sovereignty is undermined. With a $14.5 trillion national debt, and an annual deficit of $1.5 trillion, the complete economic collapse of America is inevitable.  All the Tea Party Republicans can do now is delay it, but even that is questionable.  To prevent a default on the bonds that finance this debt, the government will print more dollars to cover the interest payments on the loan.  This will accelerate inflation, driving the value of the dollar downward.  Once our money is worthless, the push toward a continental currency will be extremely powerful. The argument will simply be made to accept the "Amero" or face breadlines. The Amero will be backed by gold, silver or some other precious metal with intrinsic value.  This will stabilize the currency, thus creating economic stability across the continent, with far reaching positive effects around the world.  I have no doubt in my mind that this generation of Americans, having never had to make real sacrifices, will cave in quickly once faced with this kind of a crisis.  The proposed solution will just be too irresistible.

The North American Union would essentially be a foreign power, artificially created, with no historical claim on anything American. Let us not kid ourselves either. The North American Union, like the European Union, is designed to be a smaller piece that fits quite neatly into a much larger puzzle of world government. By submitting to the North American Union, the United States would effectively be submitting to a larger world government later on.

Here is the problem.  There is, and always has been, big international cartels of business and bankers that sought to control governments with money favors.  Democratic Republics (like the United States for example) easily succumb to this temptation.  The reason why is because national election campaigns are VERY expensive, and candidates need lots of money to run them.  This is particularly true for campaigns involving the president of the United States.  There are only a few organizations that are more than willing to "donate" to such a cause.  Like good businessmen however, all they expect in kind is a good return on their investment.  Initially these sorts of things are worked out in the form of tax breaks, but of course there are bigger and better arrangements that can be made further down the line.  In today's world we have seen this manifested in the form of taxpayer funded "bailouts" for large international banks.  This is how it works, you see, this is the nature of democracy.  In a democratic system, the super-rich and powerful ALWAYS end up on top, while the average taxpayer gets hosed.  Now it is also true to say that the super-rich and powerful have always ended up on top no matter what form of government was in place.  Agreed.  However, under some forms of government there can be safeguards to keep the average taxpayer from getting hosed to the point where the taxpayer has no hope of ever getting a leg up.

One such system which offers hope to the taxpayer is monarchy.  Allow me to explain.  In a true monarchy, the king already has access to all of the material wealth and comfort he can imagine.  He also has access to all of the material power his country can produce.  This sets him up in a unique position, because you see he serves a lifelong term with absolute loyalty sworn to him by his chief military officers.  This system may seem archaic to the modern mind, but just because it's ancient doesn't mean it's foolish.  The ancients were not imbeciles.  Remember, the Greeks tried democracy and republicanism too.  It ended in failure for them, which is why they defaulted to monarchy.  The monarch system, as backward as it sounds to modern people today, is actually set up and designed to resist the influences of powerful money cartels. The monarch already has full access to every material thing his heart desires.  Therefore he cannot be bought.  He is already a world leader by virtue of the fact he rules a nation.  So he has power, and because his term is lifelong, his power is secure.  The cartel is left with little to offer him that he doesn't already have.  This frees him.  Under this system a nation's leader is liberated to do what is right rather than what is politically expedient.  Now that's not to say a king will always do what is right.  Sometimes kings have moral failures.  This is classically known as the "good king" verses "bad king" phenomenon.  However, even if the ratio of good kings verses bad kings were 50/50 it would still mean the right thing (justice) is getting done at least half of the time, which is a hell of a lot better than how often it gets done under a democratic republic, as we have seen in recent decades.  Fortunately however, a look at the panorama of European history tells us the ratio is much better than 50/50.  It's more like 80/20, which is to say for every ten monarchs, about two turn out bad, while the other eight turn out relatively good.  Historically speaking, the best way to deal with an international money cartel is with a monarch, who can stand up to it, if indeed he is morally competent to do so.  Not all monarchs are morally competent in this way, but most of them are.  Eventually the money cartel that controls the West will get so big and so powerful that the Western nations will have no choice but to revert to monarchy to reign it in.

That will be then, this is now, and for the time being anyway, democratic republics are the rule of the day.  So what we can expect more of, is more of the same.  The first thing we have to understand is that both socialism and capitalism are two extreme economic models designed to corral the West into the Servile State.  The Servile State is the point where the international money cartel and national governments become one in the same thing.  In many ways we are already there, but the cartel has bigger plans in mind.  The international Servile State will be created through sovereign debt, and it's not just the United States that will be captured by this debt crisis, but every Western nation in the world.  Never fret though, while the crisis is coming, the cartel has already provided the solution, and virtually all of the leaders are in place now to implement it.  The European Union is already established, and to keep it from crashing, the North American Union will soon be put into place.  After the NAU is created, other unions will quickly fall into place, or so the cartel thinks, that is until they run into the Islamic caliphate.  Right now, the "Arab spring" is being funded by the cartel.  The idea here is to knock down the monarchies, dictatorships and theocracies that control the Arab Muslims world.  They may be successful in knocking down some governments, especially those in North Africa, but they may run into some problems in Saudi Arabia and Iran.  Regardless of that, the Muslim Brotherhood and their ilk have other plans.

The Islamic caliphate will eventually be created.  This is the ultimate goal of the Muslim Brotherhood and other similar organizations.  Once that happens there will exist an Islamic "king" or "emperor" who will be able to stand up to the West's money cartel.  He will likely base his policies on Islamic law, not international monetary policy.  I suspect his reaction to their attempted control of him will not be pleasant.  It will be at this point when Israel and Europe find themselves in the fight for their lives.  Neither entities will survive the conflict in their present form.

So with this apocalyptic view of the near future, the question arises, what becomes of the late great United States.  This we cannot know.  The future of America is hidden from us.

For Catholics however, there is always a solution to our present woes.  The first thing we need to do is get back to our religion.  Strong religious families always survive the fall of nations.  Empires rise and empires fall, but the Catholic Church goes on, and those families who cling to her can expect to go on too.  Second, we must not be afraid.  By this I mean we must not be afraid to do what is right, according to the teachings of our faith, and live strong Catholic lives in spite of the world that hates us for it.  You see the best "revenge" is living well, so let us do that by living according to what our faith teaches, and in doing so our very existence will drive our enemies mad.  Third, we must network.  Only by drawing close to our fellow Catholics, and those Protestants of good will, can we hope to survive and thrive through the coming Servile State and the catastrophe that will soon follow in it's wake.
